Just a question, whats the preferrable HP setting for the cars for each course?

whatever you want. check the IR to get an idea of how people do things around the world.

With the right equips for all (or any) courses, 740's your "generally-perfect" swiss army knife. Not always, but it's around there...

My suggestion: find the HP you can take all courses at (like you can do any course @ [x]HP). From there, work outward with your HP/equip setups.
Like where I may be able to take Wangan-Yoko @ 815 with a 6-gear car, I gotta drop it a bit for 5-gears and heavy cars because of their overslide; and I still get almost the same performance. The "magic number" for mine is 740, although with some of the heavier wheels, I may be able to up it to 760 at the cost of accel.

i read some post on rim guide, how do u know that rims will help u so much?
coz u say the dress look doesn't anything for the perfomance or handling!!!


n how to turn perfectly on red turn? coz i always hit the wall when i shift to 2 gear!!!

we know because we use them. lots of us have and we give feedback/opinions about them and thusly the data is compiled to form a finale description. although the current descriptions (except for the shotguns) are not all correct.

red turn? ever tried braking maybe?

"Braking and turning at the same time" might be more precisely worded. I do it with the addition of "Brake + turn + down-shift" - the effect is almost violent.

And for the hp setting thing. Just go with what people do. I complained bout that at the beginning, but now I know why people all use say 760 for Osaka. It's a good balance between speed and handling for XX course.

you know, originally, people used to play osaka starting with 800 and then they went to 780 and now they all use 760. just so you know.

Hi guys, a quick question

my car is at 660hp

what a good balance between the Handling and Power bars? at the moment mines on BALANCE with 2 bars separating power and handling. is that okay? or should they be equal?


ps. sorry for the noob question, just want to make sure/get an idea.

a good balance is when you have 820hp on tap, then can freely move your HP anywhere

yeah, i haven't got 820hp lol. i dont play for hours lol. bout 20 mins on my lunch break. so im slowly getting there.

so get to 820 before you start thinking of anything else

@ 660hp you shouldnt be thinking of dressup or battling or anything else.

i dont battle, and ive only done up to level 6 dress up(just to make car look little better)

once my cars done im gona battle. coz every few weeks maybe twice a month im in the city all day with mates. but yeah, northlands is the closest place near me that has MT.

i use a S15. ive got another z33 with 760hp(used to play against mates with) but i dont use that card much so i started again with a new card intending to finish all the way.lol

girlfriend also doesn't approve of me spending money on games, so that slows me down lmao.

well then find a way to get around her?

if you just do ghost, you'll never get your car FT'd. just concentrate on doing story for the meantime...

i only focus on story mode. trying to FT both my cars then ill dress up.

one at a time matey. wont get it done that way if you try do both with only 20 minutes to spare at a time...
