.... if you're going into a corner too fast, means you need to slow down before the corner...

QUOTE (deltaz @ Today at 12:13 AM) | @Raven111: Mind explining what's oversteer O.o My car can even bang on yellow turns... |
To better understand your problem, let's use a right turn as an example... You lean into the turn, but you hit the wall; which wall do you hit - the right or the left? If it's the right, that's oversteer (turning too tightly/sharply); if it's the left, that's understeer (turning too loosely/widely).
With oversteer, that's correctable by loosening your turn a bit and/or countersteering; with understeer, tighten your turns a bit. And above all, try to keep your car in the "middle" of the road - "middle" as in no pinballing.

QUOTE (deltaz @ Sep 25 2008, 10:44 PM) | @Raven111 Well from what you said i saw my problems as understeering. But you said turning too loosely..but always turn the steering wheels to the max(hope you get wad i mean) and the back of the car / the whole car always swings to the outside wall( Right corner swerving to left corner)
...Btw whats spoiler? Hope to get to know more this |
Rule #1 (for me, anyway): Try to keep your car in the "center" of the road; basically, keep your car away from the walls as much as possible - anything inside of there (traffic, opponents) is just an extra to deal with under the same 'rule'. FYI, I've run Auto for most of my gametime (and Manual for some Story and most current battles), and I gotta say it sounds like you're running Auto and hitting the brakes; if that's the case, the problem is timing and pressure (summed up as "footwork"). It'd help to know what transmission you're using and what you're doing in the turn - in fact, that last might help everyone give better advice to solve your problem.
As for the spoiler: If you mean the little tab in my sig, my definition of it is a little concealable tab with info/stuff inside - useful for saving space. In the case of mine, it's for an extra setup for my Evo5. It's not included by default in your "edit sig" - I put it in there after fooling around a bit with the "quote/edit post" window. By anyone else's, it could also mean the wing on your car.
