Why is there always some kind of performance enhancing conspiracy behind every single statistic/part you can attain in the game?

It's alllllllllll bragging rights, dude. It's the same theory behind a game that, really, shouldn't be making money at all, in those "Dragon Punch" games.

You pay a buck to hit a bag 3 times and compare numbers with your friends to see who's stronger. It lasts 5 seconds, you all go "ooooh I beat you, sucka!" and your penis grows abit. Doesn't it ever strike you that the more popular arcade games are the ones that keep massive scorekeeping?

It's all "my penis is bigger than yours", man, every stat in the game.

In order of difficulty imo;

Hakone Ib,Ob, Hanshin, C1 In, NBL CCW, C1 out, Yoko, NBL CW, Wangan East, Wangan West.

What about Yokohane's diff routes?

what does overhauls means ? ?

in MT1/2, when you completed a loop of story mode, your car was given a slight performance increase to give it an advantage in vs. matches.

Overhauls do NOT exist in MT3, so don't worry about it.

I have a question about Hakone (inbound and outbound).

How many of the yellow turns need throttle control (if at all)? Is it possible to get through most of them with full throttle + good line?

I've looked at TA vids and it's rather hard finding out when they release throttle. Only thing I can see is when they brake if the vid is in 3rd person.

you can see if they throttle control buy look at the rev meter you'l see it drop slightly and stay constant, unless they go on off on off, which is what i do for some corners in hak. but im pretty bad at hakone 2'31 lol =(

Quite hard to judge based from the revolution meter... IMO

Hmm, guys. I need a confirmation on Ghost Battling. Is it true, that if the crown-holder has a Dress-up Lvl 10. Will he/she be easier beaten then someone with a Dress-up Lvl 30? Ofcourse the ghost will be weaker after each battle, but is it true that the Dress-up Lvl does make a big difference when you battle the crown-holder?

Nope. I've seen a transfer WMMT2 card, finished w/ tachometer, and took 3 crowns all in 1 try and is STILL hard to freaking get it down.

hey i was wondering if there was a two door GC8 in this game as a secret car perhaps? i know its probably not likely, but in story mode theres a two door version...Thanks!

How the hell could this be true if a crown ghost is EXACTLY how the person raced?

Use your head.

He's saying if you barely started doing ghost mode and you challenge a higher level ghost, will he or she be easily beaten by the higher level ghost in terms of boost and the style of the driver.

I can confirm that Aura takes place in your ghost, even if its not glowing, its still in your color grid.

no, what he means is, if he had a higher dress up level, will it be easier to beat someone with lower dress up level.

obviously, it's a ghost, it's exactly how he runs, DU level or anything don't make change in his ghost.

I lost my wallet along with my 2 fully tuned cars...TT. going to make three new cars. need advice on the new cars im making. Im making one for best accel, best handling and best overall. The car with best accel would be supra and z33 right? Then best handling would be...mr2? and which would be best overall??
