supra and z33 are there for top speed, not so much acceleration...

handling... well, mr2 has interesting handling characteristics, is it the best? not too sure.

Different people will handle it differently...

Instead of getting 3 cars, why not just get one that you like, and keep using it, and using the characteristics of the car to race in your own way?

I think you'll get different opinions from different people...

But I personally think the r34 and supra both have good accel and top speed.

Handling wise, Evo 8 and 9 are great.

Best overall is also evo 8 or 9.

But as I said, different people have different opinion, it's really all about personal preferences, especially about handling. Some really like sliding around but don't even realise coz they're so used to counter steering for it.

Best to try some fully tuned cars if you're lucky enough to have friends that play mt.

right best accel would have to be gdb, or 180sx. they always smoke me.
best handling would be evo9 / r32, top speed r33/z33/supra/hiace

okay lets put it like this. instead of best accel, lets have it as best car for TA , crown and player battle for wangan line. Then best handling, put it as best car for TA , crown and player battle for c1 osaka and hakone (does not have to accel only for 1 of the three tracks, best if the car is good for this three tracks overall).

try getting a FR car, and try getting a 4wd car.. there are light FR cars, drifty FR cars, grip FR cars, same goes for 4wd cars..

I really want a R32 but im not sure yet, its either that one or a R34 for my next new car. I like the rx7 but it feels like a lighter version of my s15 and more smoother, no biggie..rx7 just easier to tame then the s15.

r32 is definetely good, and im also a silvia driver. the difference in the way the handle and the speed is very very noticeable. in favour of the r32.

What splits should I getting for a 2'48-49"XXX in yoko downwards.

Currently doing a low 50.

- ur splits by .2? pretty sure u can 48 if u -.200

-.200 on every splits

thats pretty intense.

Do you know actual "theory like" split times in achieve in each section.

It's hard to say really, because people who have top times can vary in split speeds and still end up around the same.

I'd take a few of the low-time videos off Youtube and compare them to see what you should be aiming for.

at what rank do you get traffic in hakone battles?

i rmb someone saying s9 or s8... can anyone confirm? I'm still a few hundred races from s9. lol

Dress Levels doesn't affect the rank at all? Only Ghost Wins?

Dress level is related to ghost wins, so they both don't count towards rank, and rightly so.

it doesn't exist..

there were rumours too back in MT2 when you get traffic if you SSS, but it was false

Well according to one of the threads...

I know that wins get you Level ups because I witnessed after I hit 200 wins, I went from B3 to B2. Hoping to hit 300 and as well be a Level 10 ghost.

The question I was asking is if Instead of Ghost wins, do Dress Levels as well bring your rank up?

Dress level is not necessarily related to Ghost wins, because even if you loose, you still get EXP.

so...which car with good handling would be good for c1, osaka and hakone, and which car with good accel/speed would be good for wangan?

IMHO, in order

handling:
Evo8, 32R, RX8

top speed:
Z33, Supra, 33R

Among those with top handling, which has best accel. And among best top speed, are they best accel also? or are they just good or wangan or something...if they are all best at accel, could you tell me which has best handling?

er, those would be my choices for the courses you laid out. i'm a supra driver, but the one time i tried the z33, i felt it was lighter than the supra... dont know why.

That still doesn't help me answer my question on whether or not your Dress level can give you a rank up. I know if you race a level 1 ghost as a rank B2, you dont get EXP.

i said that in reference to what you said that wins doesnt directly show dressup...

you get 0 exp if you challenge anyone 2 levels below you (ie, if you're level 9, any level 6 or less means u get 0)

I dont think dressup level gives you exp tho.
