I've driven someone else GDB-F on Hakone and it feels quite different from the GDB-C or a GC8, supposedly more stiffer according to some people. I dunno, I drove it like I normally drive most of my cars that are AWD, didn't feel too much of a difference, nothing that would hinder your cornering anyways...

Yeah dude if your gonna quote 2 people, keep it in 1 post.

As for recommendation for cars, I would say this is based off my opinions

Supra - NBLCC, NBLC, Wangan East, Wangan West, Yokohane Downward, Yokohane Upward, Metro. Tokyo, Metro Kanagawa.
R34 - C1 outbound, NBLCC, NBLC, Wangan East, Wangan West, Yokohane Downward, Yokohane Upward, Metro. Tokyo, Metro Kanagawa.
GDB-C - Capable of all courses.
S30 - C1 Inbound, C1 Outbound, NBLCC, NBLC, Osaka, Hakone Outbound, Hakone Inbound.
Z33 - Wangan East, Wangan West, Yokohane Downward, Yokohane Up, Metro Tokyo, Metro Kanagawa.

Thats all I can think of for now.

Add the EVO-8 beside the GDB-C ty biggrin.gif

i just got back from the arcade and i was just wondering if i'm wrong. Since KAREN is a mass dupe around the world, isnt it if you transfer a dupe from MT2 into MT3, that you have to change the name? Cause I just raced a guy with a red JZA80 with 4000 outruns and 100,000 kms with his own name. And when I raced him, he was a total noob also when he did his TAs, he was 4 seconds behind from the best. Soo I'm just asking that if you transfer a dupe from MT2 into MT3, you have to change the name right? Cause I got fooled from that guy.

There are renameable dupes as well.

Just because the car's numbers resembled a dupe like KAREN's doesn't mean it's actually that card.

I've read that your ghost slows down every time some one loses to it. Is it possible that your ghost slows down so much that it loses to a guest car? (I'm asking because I recently had to revenge a GUEST car with 280HP) Has anyone else experienced this?

@ MaxX: Where'd you get that sig?

Ah, I see. Thanks! I thought it was from some fun program you could try online. And you don't have to worry, I don't plan on stealing anyone's sig. I like mine the way it is. happy.gif ...Now if I could only learn how to use photoshop to make it look nicer... or force my sister to do it for me. tongue.gif laugh.gif

do 10 outrun, beat a lot of ghosts, beat a lot of people, beat the game over and over (typically in that order). That's about it. Good luck getting S rank at all if you were stuck at B for the longest time. Even if you artificially inflate your rank with all those techniques it's going to take forever and a day. I'm only at A5 and I do the outruns anymore whenever I- have no ghost to revenge, I am unshaded on story mode, there are no challenging players, I am too tired to do a TA. Experienced people will notice if you've inflated your rank typically.

I was wondering if there was any guides or anything on this forum for driving, drifting, gear shifting? I have been on the search button for a day and got nothing sad.gif

Well in Wangan your not necessarily drifting, more of power drifting. If anything, I don't think you need a guide on how to drive, "drift", or shift gears, gotta learn through trial and error. Its what everyone has gone through and you get better at it by continuing to practice through trial and error.

I've told you before. You will learn a lot even if you don't spend a dime at the arcade. Just pull up a chair when there are veteran players on the machine and watch what they are doing, shifting, turning, etc. Like any game though perfection comes at the cost of many many tokens. There's no quickie crash course to getting truly good at this game.

I'd just like to confirmed that any sticker slapped onto your car will make your car Heavy and Drift. Done and confirmed it.

Any sticker will make your car heavy. How can you tell?

The steering wheel's tension becomes more stiff when turning. I thought the machine was effed up, so I called my buddy over to see if he could fix it. Told me the machine was fine, then I figured to take off the sticker and the steering wheel became normal again.

of course its true.. common sense says that if something has a weight in itself and is added to another object, it will make that object heavier

Neon lights don't make much a difference.

If that were the case, then anything that adds weight (I.E Bonnet, Sticker, Noen) are to make the Steering Wheel more stiffer.
