Hmm, I think you were refering to the WMMT2-discards. That's not what I meant. I know you can't use WMMT2-discards on a WMMT3-machine, hehe. My friend has 7 plays to go on his fresh R32-card (almost finished with the dress-ups) The discard will be WMMT3 ofcourse. I am curious though. Since I kinda drive old-school cars (EVO3, HiAce, Z31) I want start with an R32 with all the nifty bonusses from his discard. Will that still be a "no, that's not possible"-answer?

MagixMan cool.gif

Dude even if the car has the nifty stuff, the discard will be like any other discards, only make a copy of the disused card. There will be no bonus track or tachometer.

Thanks for summing it up Remie happy.gif One last question. I'll be going to the Philipines next holiday. Since there are lots of WMMT3 machines in the SM MegaMalls in Manila. Will I be able to use my EU WMMT3-card (region free)?

There are only two versions of Wangan, Japanese version and International version. I'm pretty sure your card is from the international version and mostly all machines in the philippines are international too (International meaning English text, Japanese cabinets)

The WMMT3-machine in my arcade has Engrish dialogue, so it must be the International Version, hehe. Thanks for the fast reply. Guess I am all set to go. For those pinoys/pinays, you better watch out. Because the flying dutchman is here to steal all your crowns... j/k laugh.gif

The tachometer is only obtainable by transferring over an unshaded car from MT2, so no, you can never get it. Your friends seem to like making it seem like they know alot when they really don't.

The ost you got while shaded is the same ost everyone gets. The ost you get for going unshaded is Wangan Midnight R.

if i'm not wrong, you get the wangan 1/2 OST if you're unshaded as well.. as long as you finish it, you get the 1/2 ost.

Complete 80/60 stages UNSHADED and you'll get WMMT 1&2 OST plus Wangan Midnight R OST.

Is asking this question in one thread not good enough? Do you have to ask it in several different ones?

Are you gonna keep asking the same 3 questions about every car you decide to start up? Seriously man, this is a waste of space. Play the game.

why dont someone post a thread for all cars, like listing what courses all cars are good for, so next time we see a post saying, what course is the rx8 good on, we can tell them to go to that thread

"PLAYERS, OLD AND NEW, ASK QUESTIONS HERE!"

I would have thought this would be the place to ask such a question if they're new to manual. Everything's so smartass in this board...

I'd imagine what kuo is asking is where an optimal point would be to shift up and down. A good basis for starters would to be just to shift up at redline (or around there) and shift down when a turn requires you to go into a speed that the gear you're on doesn't really accomodate for. That's a pretty basic way to explain how to shift, but you'll more than anything need to pay attention to how your car is behaving during all this. Are you shifting up and not accelerating too well? Maybe you're shifting too early. Just play around with it for a while and you'll adjust, later on you'll find the best rpms to shift up for whatever car it is you'll be using. Whatever suits your style, really.

it wasnt here in the first place... the admins moved it here... it was its own thread in its own right when the question was initially answered... ^^

hence the way we answered

The whole smartass thing wasn't so much a personal attack, but you have to admit there's a lot of that on these forums. But yeah, I can see where you're coming from.

I'm trying to find the website that allows us to check our mileage records. I need it because I forgot the mileage on my new card. Anyone have it?

Edit: Forget it. I found it, and it's closed down...
