I'm trying to find the website that allows us to check our mileage records. I need it because I forgot the mileage on my new card. Anyone have it?

Edit: Forget it. I found it, and it's closed down...

The Wangan Maximum Tune 1 and 2 Internet Ranking are both closed, but the Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 3 Internet ranking is still open

Kuo mentionned something that nobody adressed that was a genuine question, and a mistake I see iD players make all too often.

"erasering" is what you're referring to, Kuo, and no, it does not help in MT. So Don't shift down and up excessively expecting it to give you an advantage, because that only works in iD3.

What does it matter? What kind of a question is that?

What the hell would a yes/no change for you? You're going to get them either way.

well the gearing is different for all cars...some cars shift at a certain point and some cars shift before/after that, so it depends what car ur driving
and to you 2nd question, the difference between a 4 gear 5 gear and 6 gear car? if thats the case its just a different amount of gears... alot of the top tier cars use 6 gears but there is very good 5 gear cars that pwn

errr. there was a point in wmmt1, when we were shifting up and down up and down up and down on the straights.

never knew why, just did it coz everyone was doing it.

*shrugs*

to kuo:

side effect when you loose to someone: you lost the money you put in... all you gain from that is mileage, no TA times, no storymode, no ghost wins, etc etc

how to change gear when you increase? i dont get you

your cars gears are set for the car type... you wont be able to change it...

you'll need to learn your cars shift points as well, each car has its own point where shifting up(or down) gives you better performance than you would have than if you left it in gear.

shift points don't affect the car as much as initial d/battle gear 4

don't shift by the tachometer, always shift by speed.

The difference:

-Kuo asked a genuine question
-Jonathan was being an idiot, which is moreoften the case than not.
