Retiring does not make you shaded.
If you think you are going to lose and you have a good 2km left retire straight away. Just for anyone out there who doesnt already know this. You cannot retire from i battle. This post has been edited by Greentea on Nov 21 2010, 08:30 PM |

You have no idea how many people at my arcade do that.
Also they stop racing in story mode because they want someone to verse them. Then the cpupasses the finish line and thye full go WTF? |

only in mt2 even if you retire your card will still be shaded..even the present cards are shaded, mt2 is one mofo to keep it unshaded.

Yeah. I don't feel like paying 100 dollars to tune my car, so i'm gonna tune the car via WMMT2 and then transfer it to WMMT3 (and then to DX+) |

Question about Ghost battles. How does the boost with them work? Is it like story mode wherein even if you crash and screw yourself over in the beginning, you still have a shot at catching them?
And can you or can't you push ghosts...? I distinctly remember making one ram into traffic and slowed it down. This didn't happen with other runs against it, and that was within the same day consecutively. |

Well i was doing story mode and i hit a truck in the last 2km. So i retired. I kept playing onto story 100 and i got the tach which means i finished unshaded.
Ghost batttle boost is the same as story and battle. You can push ghost in version b. Dont bother though just try to block them off to get a speed boost. |

I was refusing challenges when i retired whilst doing story. Didnt wanna be fished whilst tuning to yeah. |

low level story cpus, yes. all ghosts that aren't kings, kind of, much tougher since version B came along. King, absolutely not, mt3 style. |

Weird question about ghost.
Is there boost in crowns now. I can feel boost even if im going at the same speed as my opponent and its a straight line. Or maybe its just me. |

I think renames are basically duped cards like spw and chun or something.
its jst that dx+ bans the names now so u hav to change da name. |
