Wait, so it's like this:

A shaded card is still shaded after renewing but you can only get unshaded when following these rules:

- Starting a new loop in Story Mode.
- Transferring from a previous MT version shaded card, to a newer version.

X Renewing a card from the same version doesn't unshade the card.

So it was "transferring" instead of "renewing", am I right now?

Can somebody explain this to me? I made this card from scratch fyi. Happened today.

So is the only way to get unshaded if you are shaded is to complete another story loop without losing? Also, how was the dressup aspect in MT2 different from the dressup of MT3 onwards?

M1&2 Dressup was part of the tuning process and made a difference. No Ghost until 3.

So in MT1&2, playing story mode allowed you to dressup your car?

Only when you reached that point of tuning. Only one aero kit available and not removable.

Perhaps we went about the first story mode wrong. What if you only need to go undefeated the last 50 races, but the fulls second run of 100 stories if you shade after 50?

So if you have a shaded card, you can get it unshaded by either:
A: Finishing a story loop without losing in the last half.
B: Transferring your shaded MT card to a newer version of MT.

Is this correct?

Anyone know if repeating a CLEARED story chapter will still raise your win consecutive number?

For example:
Wins 81 Story 101

If I kept repeating Story 101 for 20x. Will it be become Wins 101 Story 101 or not? Anyone knows/have tried it before?

If I'm right, it won't since it's already a cleared chapter. Anyone who could confirm this unsupported claim of mine?

I don't think the card comes in all new WMMT 4 OSTs.

A relative of mine ordered it and he got the "First Press Edition" which included the special banapassport.

If you read the website, it now states that First Press Edition sold out which means future copies will not include the banapassport.

As such, I strongly suggest you contact Playasia and check with them if it includes the banapassport as their website doesn't mention anything about it.

confirmed, if you beat a story that was already done, wins won't increase. (had 1 win before, beat story 101 again, still 1 win)

GRB is decent at best, alil slidy though...recommending either a gdb-c or a mazda speed 6 if you dont like those top tier cars...

I have absolutely zero experience with the GRB, but I'll tell you what I've heard from other people and also my observations.

The GRB has "no ass", meaning it'll be tricky for someone to clip your rear end. That's an advantage in VS battles. I also heard that it packs enough weight to withstand continuous beating in VS battles as well. When someone rams you and such, you can retaliate with enough ramming power.

It's a 6-gear, so the ratios are fairly short but the acceleration is already decent to begin with.

This just for me though, but its aero kits look like shit. If I were to have a GRB, I'd leave it all stock. Dunno with you though, go check the aero kit thread for how its kits look like if you don't konw yet

only atrocious GRB aero kit is aero C. you do NOT want to pick that.

It is, but its so drifty as hell, even at its grippiest dress-up...i tuned a rolla and a GRB...if choosing either i'd g with the GRB...it maybe a tank but its better for a beginner..
