ill give you the low down for my setup:
Aero C for grip
RCII for grip
CF w/ duct for speed
Wingless for speed
Aero mirrors for speed

in the end, it kinda balances out.

Then what does stock mirrors ?

well stock mirrors are obviously heavier than aero so they provide a slight amount of grip. mirrors are very hard to notice but when you do, they can help.

Hi all!! Im using an Evo3. Settings are stock aero, aero mirror, RCII, and the bonnet is the last 1 which u unlock. 4got wats the name of it. Is this setting gd? or u guys have suggestions?  happy.gif

I just finalised my settings this week.It has

Aero C
Enkei J-SM
Carbon bonnet with ducts
Original mirrors
Wing by type.

I won't be changing any parts for a long time to come because it is good enough to take on anybody.

It is balanced, probably on the drifty side. But that bit of drift won't hurt unless u have a lousy run.But it sure can ram those cars that I hate from MT2 like the 32.

Okay.. thanks all that helped to answer my questions. I have thought of my final set-up.

Stock Aero Part
Aero Mirror
Carbon Bonet w/ Ducts
GT Wing [Straight]

I have no idea for my wheels though... Can anyone help me choose between T6/RCII/RGII? Or what other wheel you recommend for the above setting. Thanks in advance.

TC II is for grip; RC II and RG II are slightly more drifty.

for T6 i have no comments since i never use it. Some other rims you can try

Enkki forge, TE 37 and 57F ...

it all depends on what you intend to use: grip or drift

RC II grip
RG II less grip than RC II for speed

Asking and relying on others will waste more of your money, coz then you're not driving as well as you shd have...

when you were tuning your car you shd have found smth you liked anyway

completely wrong, RCII is the grips the most, RGII grips a lot like the RCII too but allows you to slide easier, while TCII is a balanced rim, not a grip rim.

IMO, TCII and RGII look a bit better than the RCII - kinda fits the appearance/performance balance I'm looking for. TC2s for my Evo9 later this week.

but outta the 3, RCII grips the most, then RGII then TCII. agreed TCII doesnt look that bad, but its not better looking than RCII imo. RCII in MT3 look a bit weird, it looks better in pics and ID4.

best acceleration you can get outta an evo IX, try this setup:
stock aero
aero mirrors
carbon fiber ducted hood
wingless
RCII or RGII rims.

gt straight wing isnt neccesary, you can just go with aero a wing, since evos have lots of grip already and the RCII even give the evo more.

some ppl say stickers and neons so affeect performance but most ppl, including me, cant tell any differences.
