Nah, of course not =p like xeo said in a different post i think most E8 users choose Kit C because they find it gives more stability to the car. Kit A is less wide and you probably could take a finer line with it. I don't really have experience with B so i can't give advice on that.

Havn't used Enkei RPF-1 on my evo. Warmac? Do you mean Tarmac? If you mean Enkei Tarmac evo limited then i've used it before and i didn't really like it, cause i found that i got too much grip from it and was losing too much speed on turns, well at least it felt like it lol. Hope that helps u out a bit. turned.gif

not too many e8 users use aero c here...

many use aero a because aero a is a little heavier, better for ramming

hey I was wondering the expert opinions of the difference between an evo8 and evo9. I really want to know.

Cos I want to start an evo. I already got an evo9 but I heard the evo8 is much better. I just want to know the difference, so I will know which one to start.

as you probably have heard, the evo8 has better acceleration while the evo9 has better stability, and they both have the same top speed. not much to know about them really other than that.

There is a big danger with the Evos and this applies to a lot of the usual rally cars as well (such as the Impreza). The danger is that being easy to drive means that it is a lot harder to master as it is a damn easy car to do.

All the Evos and Imprezas do have their slight differences but you need to invest possibly a little bit more just to figure out the maximum potential of the car. Plus, you have the proverbial 'n00b' on you as Evos and Imprezas are technically beginner cars...

Almost all Evos are damn easy to learn. A lot of first-timers to the game usually pick the Evos/STIs/GT-Rs as they are easy to learn the beginning stuff such as grip and as well as lines because of the AWD system.

Generally, I prefer the Evo 8 over the Evo 9. The extra speed is probably worth more than the extra grip the Evo 9 has. You can probably get round the grip issue with some practice...

EDIT: @ Death, I didn't get into MT using an Evo. The first car I've actually used was the RX8 which was surprising to a lot of the guys as an RX8 is rather hard to master or learn first off the bat. But I managed. The RX8 in my sig is the first car I've ever tuned up.

evo8 still looks better cos its less "stiff" design. and i reckon the chassis is a little less wider than the other evos. i started off with the 350z tongue.gif

IMO the GTO is a really good car. feels quite solid and has decent acc.

how about the EVO IX ??

w00t2.gif I do have one! But the color of my Evo IX in the game is gray. And my car still hasn't complete story mode. Not to mention that I'm still on the R200 CLUB chapter on MT3. laugh.gif

Hey guys, i managed to get a hold of an E9 discard..

Just wondering, with the stability, is there ALOT of difference between the E8 and E9 - or is it just minute, comparatively like the GDBF and GDBC?

How much different is it to the GC8?

Both evo's will slide more than ur gc8, from what i saw ur gc8 had like crazy handling. I think that the evo 9 will slide more than the evo 8. I could be wrong though, but i'm pretty confident that ur evo9 won't have as good handleing as ur gc8.

From observing>FkN<'s gc8 it's super good handling, grips well but doesn't grip too much to lose speed at the turns. I'm sure Dare will explain in more depth as he actually used it.
