wooops lol yes i mean VI srry bout that

do u guys hav a VI or III?

evo VI, good setup would be stock aero, stock wing, stock mirrors and TCII, the bonnet is up to you. smile.gif although if you think the VI needs more grip, i suggest RCII rims or aero c. hope that helps.

Pfff that's nothing. I have an evo IVI
actually I made an Evo V today from a discard I found, and I really like it. it pulls well and it sticks to the turns well. I also made an Evo IX today. i like it, it pulls hard and handles similarly to my S30. I just can't get quite used to 6 speeds yet though.

I'm actually surprised at how nice it is.
and that sound haha. i just hope it doesn't become my main King battler, because I really like my S30Z (then again, I've never seen an Evo V driver at the arcade I work at)

yea, i was surprised at how the evo V was, too..i wasnt expecting it to be as good as it is, even though its still not close to evo VIII/IX, its still a pretty good car imo.

Agreed. the 6 speed cars have godly acceleration, BUT I feel the V can make up for that lack in the hands of a good driver.

if they made the evo V/VI have more acceleration and some more grip, the VI would surely replace my VIII, and maybe IX, just maybe..lol

the funny thing is though, I don't see the lower acceleration as a negative. when I challenge king ghosts, starting right behind them from the start is a lot nicer, since I don't have to worry about them smashing me into a wall.

as long as I'm confident in my lines and my turning speed, i can pass them and just pull pull pull to the finish.
My S30 is like that. the previous crown holder had an R-34.it pulled like hell at the start, but as soon as we hit the first corner, I dug in deep and pulled away and never looked back.

I'll get both my V and IX full tuned before I make a desicion on which one I keep as my 2nd main car. I might keep both in a rotating lineup though hah.

lmao yeah, ghost is always boost on, but with king ghosts, the boost doesn't kick in much till you're over 150m behind. at least from what I've noticed. then you get hyper insano boost at 1000m+

I never been that far in a crown battle before
LOL XD
But I could understand why
Like if you made a mistake and just wait for someone to race you

If the Evo VI had liek a lot of accel
I would enjoy having that TME kit on even more!!! ^w^
Thats just all it needs!!!

pretty much. I noticed when boost kicked in at around 150m because I hit a HiAce HARD once, went back 200m, then all of a sudden started gaining like crazy, but after the 150m point the gain slowed down.

then the other time I was just screwin around and stopped at the beginning of the race till it was like 2000m ahead of me and punched it, and it was like in FnF when you hit the NAWZ

So Boost's kick-in/kill ranges are confirmed; I thought I was making it up for a second.

Thinking of changing my Evo9's black Yokohama T6s for something in black and a little heavier. Would like some input/suggestions; only ones I can think of are:
  • Enkei RC-T4
  • Rays GT-C
  • Watanabe Cyclone & EIGHT SPOKE
  • Yokohama T6
