QUOTE (909*CT9A) | ayyyy anyone one rockin some TE's on there evo9 i wanna know if they shine when it comes to RAMMING! ram ram ram ram!!!!!!! also i heard that 57's are nice when it comes to brutal battles |
Tried the 57Fs way back when, but can't remember the experience.
QUOTE (Paladinoras) | I am planning to make an EVO IX pretty soon.
So, how does it compare to the Evo 8? Better, similar, or worse?
And is the dress-up kit any different?
Also, I notice that a lot of people here say that dress-up, and body kits matter, but Bandai themselves said that they don't matter. So which one is true? |
IMHO that bodykits do matter, irregardless of what NAMCO says; just try running Set A for 1mo, then switch to Set B/C. Far as I can say:- SETS: Evo9 has more variations between Aero Sets than the Evo8, which had only subtle variation highlights such as foglights (Set B ) and a double-stack wing (Set A ).
- Evo9's Set C was okay in MT3, but appears to have become unstable in DX.
- WEIGHT/ACCEL: Evo9 feels lighter than the Evo8; accel seems to be equal to the Evo8.
- RIMS: Yokohama RCIIs are an okay all-rounder rim for the Evo9; recommend avoiding TE37s - the handling is ultra-stiff, especially on Set A.

QUOTE (Virus. @ 1 minute, 30 seconds ago) | y dont u ??? |
Don't make this go off-topic.
He doesn't want to go because he only has MT3 locally but no DX so if he transfers he can't use it at his local.
