Well, my current setting for e8 is as follows: Enkei Forged Aero kit c Gt Wing Straight Aero Mirrors I usually use that setup with the exception that i use rays te-37's instead of enkei. I think that the forged rims provide better grip than the 37's. 37's are more drifty. Having used both a and c i think that kit a provides better stability and traction. Kit C is more drifty, imo. The set up at the top is for battle and ta, for the simple reason that i don't wanna waste money changing between so i tried to find something that i was comfortable with to do both. So to be honest i don't think i can give you a pure ta or pure battle build. Since your pretty keen on kit a i'll tell u a set up that gave me the most grip i've ever tried on any car b4. It's as follows: Enkei Forged Aero Kit A GT Wing 3D Aero Mirrors. Dare* will vouch for me that this setting was very grippy and the handling was fantastic. I changed it because it doesn't suit my driving style, i like more drift . Quote from Dare*: '' Your cars handling is very good, it's 760 is like my cars 780'' So i hope that gave u a bit of an idea, i'm probably not the best person to give yo u this advice because i don't experiment with my car that much. But that's what i found and helped me out with. If your looking for a good e8 setup try the first one i did at the top with the Rays Te-37 wheels. Or you could ask xeo or some other experienced members lol.

QUOTE (xeoreg @ Today at 7:14 PM) | I use a secret battle setting for my E8, it's a bit differernt from your setup.
My E8 is godly in battle, people who've played against my e8 have said it's a tank that's just unpushable. Two of my friends have tried it too, and they find it amazing to use for battle...thus my setup is known as the XEO setup.
I'm not going to tell anybody my exact setup because it just owns anything in battle, especially when I'm driving it.
I can give you guys some hints though...
Aero C kit some wheels made from Yokohama Advans

QUOTE (Rx2 @ Jun 18 2008, 02:56 PM) | BTW: could i get some help on my evo8 setup..
today after TAing, i just realised my tail seems to swing out a bit, actually its the same thing with my evo9. my setups are: E8: FRP hood aero a 2d wing enkei evo forged
E9: carbon ducted hood aero a 2d wing enkei evo forged
I thought the E9 would be balanced because of the carbon hood and 2d wing, but it seems not...
with the E8, im guessing it might be the FRP hood thats adding more weight to the front?, causing the rear to swing out? I'm not sure though, if someone could help me, like Dan.. or anyone.. would be awesome lol..
thanks. |
