Some five-gear cars in MT don't do so well in Time Attack (in relation to cars using six-speed) and the Evo 10 is not an exception. Heck, I've tried it myself (using an Evo 10 that someone I know uses) and from what I can see so far, I've never gotten a 2'48 on Yokohane (whilst I've done this thrice or more on my GDB-C which is a six-speeder).

Probably the only exception(s) I could think of is probably the FD from Mazda (the way that rotary engine works combined with the uber strong 3rd gear of the FD does quite wonders in NBL TA runs).

Anyways, as I've mentioned many times before, the Evo 10 is solid in real life (esp. up to the FQ-400 version) with 6-speed Twin Cluch SST gearbox. Being downgraded to 5-speed (in the game) left a bad tastes in some people's mouths (esp. since the 8 and 9 are 6-speeders hence many 'expected' that it would be the same for the CZ4A......but in the end it didn't.)

Right now, I have an Evo 10 at story chapter 4.........and as of the moment, I highly doubt that I would full-tune it anytime soon. It's not a car that I'd wanna work on immediately or even prioritize (as I'm focusing on Evo 8, Evo 9, RX8, MX5 Miata Roadster and Z34). Heck, I'd rather focus on my Corolla, GRB and Monster Hiace over my Evo 10. I just don't see anything IMHO that would make me wanna give time and effort to Evo 10 (which I see in the other cars I have)

Just my two cents.......

6 Gear is better for Top Speed, 5 Gear better for Acceleration

Lets not turn into bmw and attach a car with 7 speed gear box...

Battle is all about ramming and outmaneuvering your opponents, but riding someone in a corner is hardly the only way to do it. Besides, there are plenty of ways to prevent someone from riding you into a corner as well. It's hardly a one-dimensional technique.

MT3 use 820, DX use 825. and learn better lines, thats the only tip i can give you.

Guaranteed! Because you never know, The next MT3DX+ Might have a whopping 830HP!!!!!!! Not so sure yet though. Lol.

No. Because normally the older evo's are lighter. The EvoX Isn't very light at all.. So basically comparing the Evo X To a evo IX If they both shift @ the same time, The Evo IX Will have a better shift because of it's lightness

Yeah that's very true, But then the evo8 struggles on acceleration, So I say the EvoIX Has benne acceleration.
