QUOTE (Kyoko @ 4 hours, 58 minutes ago) | E6 is my second car after my E3 which I lost last year..E3 was a car which you can do anything with except on the Wangan line.E6 and 3 are my all time favorites. But I am still in the process of cracking the puzzle of how to dress up the E6.I need some feedback on the rims.Somehow,I feel that I can drive the E6 like how I did with my old E3.Same driving styles.
Mine is a E6 RS.So the rims I have in mind are
-Enkei RPFs -Enkei J-SMs -TE37s -CE28s
Can any E6 tuners advise me on the rims? Thanks. |
out of your list, id say JS+M with Aero C or JS+M with stock aero. you dont have this tim on your list, but in my opinion, Advan RS are pretty good too.
also Enkei Forged, completely SUCK on any Evo. ive tried them and i dont see the point of adding a rim that slides like hell on a grippy car like an Evo.

QUOTE (Matz @ 8 hours, 13 minutes ago) | e6 aero c kit maybe the TM edition body kit alright but it slows the car down. stock aero would be good enough imo... |
i dont mind my Evo VI being a little slower than a stock aero. overall i think aero c has an edge, in overall performance and definitely looks, although stock is sexy too, TME is just a bit sexier.

QUOTE (Matz @ 5 hours, 39 minutes ago) | @dragoon20005: are you kidding? forged rims slide a lot... many said that it sucks on evos. i personally tried it out on my e9. hate them...
@kyoko: u need rims? here's some u can try: tcII (light, slides a bit) rcII (best grip rim but be warned, it may dull your steering response) rgII (lesser grip than rcII but provides bit more accel) jsm (good response definitely!) rpf1 (balanced, light, worked on my rx-7) te37 (i like them on my heavy cars and surprisingly, on my rx-7 too!)
and btw, you can't adapt the same driving style of e3 on e6. u gotta change a little. e3 is light and slides a bit more than e6. e6 is grippy and tanky. probably rest of the setup would help you. mind telling us the rest of them? i got a setup in mind 4 e6. |
My E6 set-up is
-Original aero -carbon bonnet with ducts -Enkei J-SM -Original wing -Original mirrors
I personally prefer the J-SM cos of the steering response.TME is good in looks but generally, the aero C for Evos are quite heavy. So I will stick to the original aero body which is lighter than aero C.
BTW,I discovered the E6 in MT games is not a E6 at all,it is a E6.5 RS,GSR whichever versions you may have because the first E6 came out with the tail lights of the E5.If you look at the E5 RS,you will see that it has the tail lights of the E6 while the front has a typical E5 look.
