The E9 itself is quite slidy out of the evo's... so adding cyclone and straight wing would be giving it a good speed but need a fair bit of control... the ducted carbon would make the steering response fairly balanced... so probs just watch out for the tail a tiny bit... |

I just wanted any grey wheel to match my E9's grey flame4; thought I'd made a mistake with the Cyclone until I did a few runs, and it took some getting used to. IDK, the TE37s just felt slow, so I had to switch. I am kinda missing the grip, tho... |

But E9 with Te37 would be a good combo provided you learn to appreciate the stableness of the TE37... |

True that...with Aero A2, Ducted Carbon, and TE37s, the E9's incredibly stable. Also has a lotta grip, too. |

sorry guys im new and theres a noob question ive been wondering...i have been hearing people saying about wearing out of tyre after too much rough turns like accumulated about every 500 km and also does sticker and aero kit affects the performance though after all i know its up to the driver =x

This is not a question specifically for Evo's... but I'll answer it anyway... With regards to the wearing out tyre wear... the answer is no and it is bu**sh*t... The sticker, its down to personal preference... some people think that it makes a difference, some don't... so down to yourself... With aero kits, it doesn't alter performance... It just alters the way you drive... |

well one thing for sure is u will break the steering wheel if you use it roughly for 500 km XD dudez jst wanna share my e6 story man.... im lovin it  havent fted it, only up to 820, coz I wanna finish DU, and I wanna get that 0.5 extra DU points  unshaded atm, dont think it will be shaded I tried Wingless yesterday XD it slides like its on ice but it looks mean!! anyway, went to try the e6 for VS today even tho im very sick LOL. didnt win too much at first (as in didnt become first), but then I went all angry coz of some incident that happened, so I decided to play Ramgan Midninght and I screwd them, I even screwed one of the dude's machine LOL. and it was at the end of a race, so I wonder if I get the star... coz when I cross the finish line it goes to the story, ghost, outrun option thingy LOL. o wells, I think I managed to get like 18 stars ish today. didnt spend too much either, but it was the noobie arcade anyway. so yea im lovin the e6 atm. I wonder if I'd love the e10 if I made it XD |

ooo thanks alot for the information im driving a e9 and i like it very much sorry for asking another noob question..some of the evo is only 5 speed gear while some is 6 speed gear..so i would like to know whats the advantage and disadvantage of a 5 speed gear evo..as my friend say it will lose out at top speed when comparing to a 6 speed gear car which i think its quite bull

5 gear and 6 gear cars realistically in game don't have that much a big of a difference.... 5 gear cars have a bigger powerband because it has to accelerate the car on 1 gear less... whilst 6 gear cars have a slightly lower powerband because it has the extra gear to go through... 5 gear car losing out on top speed? Completely wrong... look at the R33 and R32 for top speed... Plus evo's aren't exactly known for their top speed! This post has been edited by obby on Jul 29 2010, 01:48 PM |

Personally I like 5 gear cArs. I feel the accel for 5 gear cars are much stronger

Top speed depends more on the car than the gearbox in game. If nothing else, the most noticable difference will probably be accel. I think the 6-gear cars tend to have better accel in general (which makes sense I guess, since a lot of them are the newer models), but it doesn't make a terrible difference in the end. fkn: Nah, it's quite a decent car in DX+, dude! They fixed the ridiculous weight problem from DX, so it's now a much better balanced super heavyweight. I do feel the high end accel has gotten a downgrade, perhaps, but the lightened weight has made all the difference. You can actually control the thing now. :B |
