Evo 9 is a good car for battling but its ok on TA
the best car is Evo 8 Aero kit C, and Rays 57F that's a real TA and the Battle Car the same kit right now on DX+ and DX
but its pretty fast on the turns

You chose a different initial color when you make the car.

just to add on to your post. If you choose white for the evo 8 you get the RS version. The RS has different lights and it has different rims. You get the GSR if you choose any other colour. The GSR has the different lights to the RS and it has BBS rims.

yeh - particular colours will get a particular name change

it happens with some cars, the E8, E9, E3 and FD are some of the others that change

i din noe the name will chg...

BBS rims are a company in real life which produces high quality alloy wheels. They are amazingly good looking especially on porches... but still look good on everything else...

Shame that they don't incorportate into mt, but it would look damn nice on an evo...

@name changing issue: The name doesn't make a difference, and it doesn't affect the car in any way other than cosmetic features.. like the r34 nur is millenium jade and in dx, apparently it sits lower than the stock r34... The evo 8 rs is done by choosing white, fd = choose yellow to get bathurst, E9 does not change, E6 changes, (e5 not sure), spec c for gdb-c (choosing white again)

This statement made me wonder. How come hardcore ta players chose the evo8 rs for ta and not the gsr (as seen on ta vids)?

Because it is more unique than GSR, because GSR = other stock colours whilst RS is only one... and kinda more unique... I've seen some pro ta players use GSR, it really is down to skill.

rs onli got 1 colour?cant unlock any other colours?

Oh, personal preferences. I thought that the reason they chose RS was because they felt differences in the performance. Imma gonna investigate this more X3

@calvinshee: nope...you can unlock other car colors of the RS when you renew it.

Ok, you know how when you start a car... you have a choice of colours... white, red, blue, grey and etc?? You can only get E8 RS ver when you choose white, the rest will be GSR, but unlockable colours via renewing are all the same for the versions of the E8.

I got 4:06 5xx when I was TAing on Wangan yesterday on my E6.....Is this my limit or can I go faster?What's the size difference between the E3 and E6?

You could possibly get a 4:05.xxx With the right set up and lines.

From what ive heard..... The two are similar. The evo 3 has better accel but the evo 6 handles better.

That is correct, the E3 does have better acceleration compared to the E6. Can't say I've noticed that much of a difference in handling, but the E6 probably would come out on top though.

E6 is heavier... but has better handling, whilst e3 is lighter and more nimble....

Thanks everybody.....That means my E6 RS is on par or even faster than the E9s and 8s on TA in Wangan?Cos here in Singapore,the bandwagon Evos only hit 4:06 xxx at the best.I thought I have found the perfect Evo for me when I used the E3 last tine but when I started using the E6,I never wanted to use the E3 or any other car again except maybe the E5.

Just choose whatever evo you feels the best to you...
