I changed the carbon bonnet(original) to the level 15 bonnet today.Sad to say that I am quite disappointed with it cos it is very dull in the corners with virtually no response.So I will be changing back to the level 4 bonnet in the coming weeks.My car is an E6 RS and I intend to keep it as original as possible esp with the stock body and wing.No fancy wings and other aero kits.Just a change of bonnets and using the RAYS RE30s.

I prefer the E9 -- looks better than the pink E8 mass-hacks everyone usually sports.

Setup:
Aero A w/ 2DGT wing, Ducted Carbon, and stock mirrors; Rays NTL

Whole thing is very grippy. Recommended alternatives are:
--Rays TE37s
--Rays NTL
--Watanabe Cyclone
--Yokohama T7 (possibly, since although I use it on my RX-8 I've yet to use it on my E9; not that I got a problem, I just didn't get to it yet)

Hey guys, i've seen either evo5 or 6, having a red wing which was in different colour to its body. I cant remember which evo it was >< help me out here? Oh, and how does that wing work? Frd told me that its a stock wing with ralliart sticker on it?? Help me please. Really want to know before i make it. Thanks heaps

You use any of the aero kit's wing or the stock wing and when you get to level 40 of the DU,you put on the Ralliart sticker and the wing will turn to red as part of the sticker.Does not work for the 3D or the 2D wing.Works for the wing by type though.The red wing with the Ralliart sticker only applies for the E3,E5 and E6.

Well, I'd recommend that...'cuz that's my setup except for the rims (mine's TE37)

But hey, if your DU setting does wonders for 'ya then...you've found your perfect setup.

You mean top speed? DU can't change the car's top speed y'know. If you want a car with a high top speed, then settle for GTOs, Supras, Z33/34s or R33/34s...

So I max tuned my Evolution 5 and found out it sucks big time. I mean it couldn't even keep up with Z's and GT-Rs....on top of that it's slidy as hell :/ should I keep it? I'm planning to start a evolution 8 or 9, which one should I go for and why! And what does DU mean lolol I'm such a noob (:

Hahah thank you! HOW DO I GET USED TO THE SLIDING T______T ITS SO IMPOSSIBLE I mean even on perfect drifts/turns/slides it loses too much speed and all the cars catch up on me ;_____;

Reaaally D:? I've been driving it for quite a while now, people gain speed on me so so so badly. Not to mention it slides like crazy, the only thing I like about it is that I get to bully Fairladys into walls and vehicles... How is it a beast ;____; any tips on using it? i made 70 stars on one day of my R33, its slide alot but you can block it easily.

You wouldn't believe on my first try on the WMMT3DX+ with my new Evo9 that time (Now its A7) I slide like an ass on ice.

It's alright to flunk a lot in the beginning. I doubt you would do better either if you HAD other cars. Observation is the key. Watch Youtube. Each course has it's lining which gives a definite advantage over your opponents.

Get a better set-up. I would say a 3D wing and TCII would do just fine.

Are you doing out-in-out on turns? You may be resisting the turn too much, so even if you come out without crashing, you lose a lot of speed. I mean, otherwise, cars ALWAYS catch up to you with boost on (especially no turns) unless the other players really, really suck. It's the nature of the game, so learn to ram and block effectively to stay ahead.

Stick with it though. Any car can be awesome in the right hands. Another car may be easier to learn for you, but you'll have a lot more fun if you stick with something you love instead of something that wins.

I really need some help!!

IM maxxed out on 820HP/DG i have the exact same HP+handling as the people im versing!!!

Anyway, with this exact setup, does the car have speed restrictions when racing other people,? EXCEPT i have a different hood...

In story mode and dress up mode it races normally and has a top speed of about 330+kmph??, but when it is competing against other people it limits to about 310~320kmph???And i get owned!!!!!!
Is this because of the body kit or spoiler or bonnet i have on?? i have the exact same body kit and spoiler as this has currently on. (!!!!EXCEPT I HAVE DIFFERENT BONNET!!!!).....

Do the changes to the body kit or spoiler or bonnet only affect the cars performance when versing other people?

if i put the stock spoiler back on will this fix my problem?
if i put the stock front aero kit back on will it fix my problem???
if i put a stock bonnet (same as picture) will this fix my problem????

If you screwed up in your DU, trying going back to stock. That's right. All of em. Then play the stock car, see if there's anything you want to improve in a field. Like what if you want the car to be tank-ish (unpushable) but slow, or you'd rather have a light car but fast? Would you want your car is slide or hug the road?

During battle, its mainly due to boosts. Think about it, someone behind you needs to catch up. You wouldn't want to be behind the whole race, do you? Then boosts kicks in so that you'd have a chance to overtake your rivals. Learn to block rivals XD

On the other note, some cars do have some speed limitations but it's never a concern to begin with. In battle, ram fests and blocking is so often, I guess gaining even top speed is out of the question.

Can anyone give me a good battle setting for the Evo x? Thanks.
