...I'm not getting it; first I'm even hearing this description.

In very small print it says it on one of the rims tittle when you pick them. I forgot the exact number of the rim.

@DriftingVG

Are those core cavities the

Rays 57F or the Yokohama Super Advan Ver.2 ...aka 3 spokes.

Those are the only rims with unreadable fine print that i could find.

maybe its easier if you look at this topic:

http://wmexpressway.net/index.php?showtopic=30007

that has a photo of all the rims, so then you can say which one you meant.

That guide disappoint me, I know my rims and that guides recommendation for certain rims is pretty bad. I had to to find The rims on the Yokohama website http://www.yokohamatire.jp/yrc/japan/wheel...elT6/index.html

It's the avs model t6 imo best rims for everything next to rgll and forged rims.

I doubt pairing rims with one another is on the game creator's mind when he was making this game. :/

Evo 8

Slower and grippier than the evo 9. Slightly wider than the evo 9.

Evo 9

Faster and Slidier than the evo 8. Slightly narrower than the evo 8.

the reason why Evo 9 looks wider is because the camera angle is nearer towards the car. Both car shares the same width in game.

They are both pretty similar. Evo 8 feels a bit heavier than the evo 9 so the 8 should be a bit stronger. Evo 9 is more fun though.

IMHO, any differences between the 8 and the 9 are somewhat minor at best. Both are still CT9A after all wink2.gif

P.S.
Btw, anyone else here drive an Evo 8 RS version in the game?

CT9A-8:: Heavier; top speed prioritized over acceleration
CT9A-9:: Total opposite of the above

Weight/Stability: -8 stomps the -9 in weight; as for stability, I think the weight issue makes the -9's whip just that much more crackable. As such, I set my -8 up (back when I had one) for Wangan/Yoko rocket runs and my -9 as for GP runs.

A little slightly-off-topic trivia, but the Evo8's not quite as heavy as the RX-8 (despite the Evo8 being larger). Imagine how it is against the 9...

If you dislike it, use a black car w/ contrasting Line[2_3] or Flame[2_3_4] (or black Line1 on a light-colored car, and the antenna literally disappears.

RCIIs? Really? I thought they were hella heavy and only performance-degrading weight. Wouldn't really know about on the 8 since I haven't touched it since 3.
57Fs are more for slide; I'd suggest the Rays 77NTLs, maybe the TCIIs I've been hearing so much about. What about the RGIIs?

How's an Evo8 using Aero C w/ stock mirrors & type wing, ducted (carbon) bonnet, and 77NTLs? (4tR, this is what i'd likely use if I still had it.)

Why is my evo 9 a better blocker than my GTR?

I used both my Evo 9 and GTR today and i realised that my evo 9 is the better blocker and rammer. Doesnt make sense to me because the evo 9 is smaller and lighter than the GTR but it acts like it is twice as heavy. The two cars are both AWD and have pretty similar handling style ( both grippy )

Theory (Blocking): Both are fast, but the Evo9 is undisputedly lighter than the GT-R; theoretically it can handle turns a lot tighter than the GT-R can, and consequently get into position faster -- but it'll also probably lose by a nosehair in a straight-out run on Wangan.

BTW, is the R34, or the 5-gear GT-Rs?
