I tried doing an Evo V CN9A spec but it's quite slidy with the spoiler... Gonna trim down and use another rim for me to counter the added weight on it's arse... Any suggetions on grip rims?

my E6:
all stock except wing - by car type n Aero B.
I luv it.
feels slidier than an all stock E9.
E9 is easier to drive.

Hi I was wondering what are some good recommendation setups for the Evo 3? Especially for battles. I know it can't bash but when I race, it's all about lining and getting infront first and keeping the lead. I would like some battle and TA setups for the Evo 3 thanks.

I used this set up for ta in hakone mainly

I'm surprised the 3dx+ world championship car is an evo 9.
Would someone detail me about it? I gave my evo 9 to a friend.

Well that could happen simply because of fame. Noobs will think it's the ultimate setup.

im using his teammate's setting tho
not interested to use the WC's setting cuz its whored
if you see it closely he's making a light aero set to be heavy..

I say its the ultimate speed set up. And precision driving straights.
Not ram fests.

But i'm a noob, i know nothing of the game. I'll stfu.
Jokes. Seriously, is it even a tank set up. If it's light, it's like my kpgc10.

Because I did up an Evo 8 then Evo 9, I felt the difference. In my opinion the Evo 9 is a well refine version of the Evo 8. It feels slightly faster, better acceleration pickup, the handling quality is just as good as the Evo 8 and did I mention it is actually slimmer? It's a great overall car in my opinion. And I prefer my Evo 9 over nearly every car.

really cuz your evo8 is a dupe lol & its from a 9999 6k rename from mt2 before it became a massive dupe in mt3, so u can't really say " I DID UP A AN EVO 8"

I don't know what's a dupe. I got given the Evo 8 and FD from my ex boyfriend. Cos I really wanted one. But I did it to 825 and full dressup and I raced with it quite abit. So I got a good feel of it in the amount of time I played with it.

I am a longtime E3 user at 8700km.My E3 is all stock except for the RAYS NTL rims.This car has been a perfect partner for me be it in battles or TAs since my MT2 days.Unfortunately, I tend to get murdered in Hakone in battles cos I dunno how to drive there.My driving style in 3 and 4 way battles is to stay behind at the start and let the other three cars slug among themselves and I pass them at the last few corners when they tangle with each other.Usually,I get the win unless I trip up myself big time.I tried rotary cars like FC,RX8 and E6 in a bid to get a fresh feeling but sad to say,I still love my faithful friend which is the E3.Quite underused in Singapore.

Swapping my E9-A's wing out for GT-curved; still trying to decide on rims. May go back to Evo Forged...

dupe - duplicate/hacked card.

Origin: During the Maximum Tune 3 days (not DX or DX+) the cloning-system is something majority have got away with; and ever since Maxi 2, where battle stars are easy to get/fish, etc. hence the 10,000 stars you have on your card and the IMMENSE aura it has.

Sourcing: I've raced someone with a duped Evo8 recently and he said he got his off ebay.

Yea, im a rare sort. Well I love cars and when my ex introduced this game to me, I got hooked. I havnt been to Surfers Timezone but I play in the city Timezone.

@JessiePRO90, you should come some time; My workplace is near there so I'm pretty much a regular as well. They have 10 working units there at Surfers (4 DX+, 6 DX). I could even give you the grand tour XD

haha yea maybe I will in my holidays. Ekka holiday is coming, so maybe then. And OMG you guys got DX machines!!!! We got 6 DX+ machines now, lol 2 were taken away as they were beyond repair. Talk in pm next ok?

Anyways, back on topic. I am in love with my evo 3, it is such a easy car to drive. And I thought the R32 was really easy, but omg the evo 3 is easier and is such a charm to play.
