@keiji so how does it feel with the 3D wing? Cos with the straight wing, it is really a tough balanced car, I'm guessing with the 3D wing will increase downforce on the rear of the car and make it slightly slidier?

with that setting, my evo 9 became more grip-driving, becuz X401 is heavy and grippy to me.. this setting also gave me a better acceleration..

EDIT: It suits me more with the 3D wing. The car is just as heavy and therefore can nudge other cars, and I'm surprised the acceleration is better as well. I like that setup.

You can also get a good TA time on Wangan too.....I got 4:06 5xx on my E3 last month.Looking to break into the 4:05 mark.My old E6 loses to the E3 in the Wangan TA.Glad to find someone who loves the E3 as much as I do.I fell in love with the E3 after watching it feature in Initial D.

i have 2 evo3s in dx+ & 1 in mt3 & another one in mt2, i just stick with stock aero as it looks the best & thats it

my uncle had a evo3 thats why i loved evo 3s

Yeah,after years of tinkering with the E3's aero kit.....I just decided that the E3 is best to it's original body.Aero A and C are crap with ugly wings.Many times,even up to this day,I was tempted to upgrade to the E6 again.But nah,E3 is best suited for me.

what evo is better? 3,5 or 6?

i will pick all 3 if you ask me

but just go for your gut feeling which evo you think is good for you

for me i will make the Initial D ver of the above 3

I personally prefer the E3 cos it gives you greater agility during soft and hard turns.Plus it accelerates better than the E6.It is a joy to drive the E3.But one bad con is that you get pushed around in battles unless you come from behind and sneak the win.The E6 is a tank and helps you to block other cars more.In short,I would suggest you go for the E3 if you want to be the underdog and win the bandwagons and the E6 for the looks and it's huge size in battles.Look at my previous posts to see how I win in battles with my E3 against the likes of the E8s,E9s,RX8s and the Skylines.

BTW-I am a E3 user.

well i have all 3 of those evos & to tell u the truth i pick the evo 5 or 6 just cuz there chun renames every where now

I like the evo 3 but I have always had most success with evo 5

Mine is a legit E3 at 9000km.It feels good cos I have been seeing the car grow from 270BHP to 825BHP plus all the dress ups as well.

I have E3 RS, E6 RS, E8, E9 and X.

In terms of handling, the 8 and 9 are probably similar at the top of the range. E3 is on the agility side, E6 fairly smooth in corners while the X is like running on rails.

Acceleration wise, the E8/9 combo wins again, then the E3, then X and the E6. Top speed? Evos aren't really good at that.

Battle: Well, E3 is at the bottom of the range due to its size and weight. You do have to wait to strike at the right moment. E6 is a much better rammer, but still the best of the lot are the E8/9/X. The only drawback of the X is its slower acceleration so is a disadvantage in a ramfest, if somebody grind you against the wall....

Not anymore then. Because it can be pushed around so easily by all the bigger cars and evos. O thanks, but wouldn't stock bonnet be heavier with stock mirrors?

Change that to stock aero and it will be identical to my Evo 9s setup.

I have been playing for a year, and yes I bought most of the evos in renames. I like the X because it's my first wangan car and I like the body stylling (in real life too). The others are just to get a feeling of what other cars in MT are like.

seriously GTO are the heaviest mitsu out there in the game & seriously i own gave it up cuz my cosmo & toyota vip cars are heavier & faster
