Was it battle, ghost or TA. Im pretty sure the top speed is only 346 or 347 for evo 9's. Theyre good cars but a little short geared so they have shit top speeds. |

What's a good set up for the E8 on WMMT3 (not DX)? I usually do TA and Ghost Battle (trying to get the crowns ;p).

to be honest e3 sucked after mt2 as it went down hill (yet i duno why i still used a e3), but the e6 on the other is actually a better car then the e3 since its faster then the e3 i still pick my e3 over my e6 just cuz of looks (i guess) or some other unknown i duno why |

Thanks. I've been TA'ing Hakone recently and have been looking for the definitive Hakone setup for the EVO8. I've read the first 40 pages of the Hakone thread and have heard of the following setups: - All stock except carbon hood (original) and Watanabe rims - Forged rims with GT wing (not sure if straight or 3D), and not sure about the other parts - aero a, 3 spoke and wingless I've heard that the Advan 3spokes is hella good for Hakone too. It's really confusing when everybody else says something different. tl;dr: looking for the best setup for Hakone TA and Ghost Battle so I can take the crown  btw my current setup is what greentea just wrote This post has been edited by supremeJD on Oct 15 2011, 07:58 AM |

Your set up is fine then. Set up will not help you with a crown.
The set up you have is probably one of the best. I guy named GANTZ got one of the highest record times in osaka in MT3 using that set up. It's good for TA and Battle. |

dress up isn't help to take a crown, only you need learn how to line to get perfect.

+1 to that. ive only taken a few crowns and it wasnt because i had one specific setup you just need to know the course really well and the precise moments to turn/accel/brake etc |

like Myth said, Igor always take all crowns with different arcades with different setup...only he know how to get "perfect" lines. If you have faster times on TA and more improve...if you did, you can try to take crown with your best lines. |

Can someone recommend me a setup that is as grippy as an all-stock R32 on JS+M's?
EDIT: For the Evo 8 I mean. Current setup: Aero C 3D Wing Advan RCII's Aero Mirrors Dunno about hood though but all I can remember is that it's either FRP ducted or CF ducted. I thought that the only advantage that the E6 has over the E3 is the size in battles and the acceleration of the E3 is better than the E6.I tested these 2 cars on the Wangan TA and it is quite hard to control the E6 in the blue turn before the yellow turn coming in from the straights at 340km/h. I also dunno why I am still driving the E3 too.I don't want to change cars now cos MT4 is coming out soon and I want a competitive car by my side. |

Just wanna share my build of my Evo 8
Stock Aero, Hood (Bonnet), Wings Yokohama RC II Aero Mirrors I saw someone playing Evo 8. His build is all stock only. He said it has the perfect balance for Evo 8. |

i think you could stick to the stock Evo rims. since you are using stock dressup
or you could use Advan TC II |
