haha Dress ups are important. and if you dont think they do, try this following builds on an evo 9

Ramming Build: High grip, High Acceleration, Low Top Speed
Aero C
Yoko SUPER ADVAN (Racing Ver.2)
Wing by Type

TA build: Moderate Grip Moderate Acceleration, High Top Speed
Stock Aero
Stock Wheel
3d Wing

Battle Build: Below Average Grip, High Acceleration, Moderate Top Speed
Aero A
Rays X401
3d Wing

It makes a major difference

Its okay to hate. It is your personal opinion and you are entitled to that smile.gif It is up to you to figure out your own setting that works for you the driver.

It would be nice to have different tabs for the same car, but I suppose I am too use to the current system to mind.

The builds that I listed are the extremities for each section but i guess an all rounded build would be in my experence.

Stock Aero
Yoko SUPER ADVAN (Racing Ver.2)
3d Wing

Or switch it with Rays Superior Ex if you like a a little more speed rather than grip

Agreed with the massive boost given. And I have won against decent players with 20 story cars. Using the boost.

It gets a little bit more crazy with higher level of play as well as with Kings as well as TA

Umm if I cant convince you. Try one set up on TA fukuoka then test another setup and see if it makes a difference. If it does then well you have learnt something. If it doesn't then you can go yell at me later smile.gif

Umm if you want I can record videos and put them up on my current channel of two different set-ups if you don't want to do it yourself. I need to do tuning 2morrow

Then how can you be certain if it does or doesnt work. Don't simply disregard ideas just because you don't like them or don't do them. TEST it out. smile.gif

IMO TA is like a standard for fine tuning cars.

Or just take two possible extremities of the same car; for example: an RX8.

TA build:
Aero C
Yoko SUPER AVAN V2
No Wing

Grippy:
Aero C
Yoko SUPER AVAN V2
3D wing
Aero mirrors

you can feel the difference, again IMO.

yes I can feel the difference between different dress-up parts, but to a battle-savvy person like me, it doesn't matter much.

hahah In regards to battle, Dress ups matter not, I suppose, because of boost.

But because you can feel the difference, it may mean that dressups do have a little bit more to it then just an aesthetic feel.

Again this is all Theory-Crafting

Evo 9 was for clan which horrible failed so i pretty much took over the majority of those cars

The Evo 8 is on a loan from a friend who doesn't play anymore so i am TA building it. (The Evo 8 is the RS edition, not the GSR which means it is a lighter version of the GSR)

And the 180sx was because i ceebs continuing to change my dress ups for TA and Battle.

Plus I have a fck ton of presents and 600 cars which I might tune before when MT4 comes out in aus since it is only 60 story

What is better Evo X, IX or VIII?

actually high tier cars are Evo VIII and Evo IX, while the two has slight differences, however Evo X is also a good contender in technical courses, Evo VIII & IX excels most of the courses except the Wangan straight courses

5 gears Evo's (III, V, VI & X) are also good and if you maximize their potentials, like the original owner of CHUN* Evo III, even he has 5 gears, fought countless Evo VIII and IX's

and my last advice to you is sometimes borrow your friend's any of the Evo's (7,8,9 &10) and conclude yourself on what to get, so not to regret heavily later on...

My Favourite E6, is the Kyoko-Tuned E6 from a fellow wme member, Kyoko, who owned both E3 and E6.

Its certainly better than a certain E6 card i bought before. Way better and more stable than the takmi-mt-edition card.

I broke my hakone ta, best with Kyoko's E6 presents and im going to main the E6 and E10 just to beat Evos..... yeah.

Thanks, I don't like sounding biased.

As far as I'm concerned, if you feel that it gives you some sort of advantage to adopt a specific setup, then that's alright with me. Just don't expect me to believe it without empirical evidence.
