Any suggestion for a good setup for a battle type/TA evoX?

Go search for it, unless you are lazy to search. :/

I'm thinking of getting a GTO. Is it good? Any opinion about that car? What's it's weakness? ermm2.gif

It's wide, probably as wide as a JZA80 Supra, but it has quite the high top speed. Decent acceleration and a bit heavy on the corners, they say it's quite tanky too. I don't know much about it since I've only driven a non-FT (815hp max iirc) present card left by some guy in one of the arcades I play on.

More like underrated, it's been highly praised as far as I know, not to the extent of the bandwagons though.

Hmm...I'm actually thinking of getting a rename of it soon, though anything would suffice for me since I'm not really one for dress-up settings.

Just Stock with a Ray/Yoko first set of wheels, and a carbon hood first level or not and your good.

And you will understand the meaning of weight and grip. XD

TAKMI tune can go to hell.

I've seen the TAKMI tune on YT and I think it looks pretty good. I haven't seen the JANE tune you're talking about but I really think it's just you that's improved the TA time and not the car. biggrin.gif

Wrong, Takmi tune is slidier and out of control like the Z34, but far worse... even a z34 and z33 is more balanced and grippy and they're slidy enough as it is...

JANE tune from KYOKO@WME. prepare for sudo kyochi mode, coz its feels like a rally car in the game, grip power and weight, not some silly ft and frious shit

And if i noticed from those 2 cars then i know because i have both>

I KNOW WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT.

Its somewhat the same as Supra JZA80, decent top speed and good acceleration weirdly sound from IRL view comparing Supra and GTO, both are heavy and quite wide and supposedly GTO has better cornering ability than supra due to 4wd system...

the weakness of the GTO is they're not good for traffic weaving.... zipping the edges from the truck using that is very risky...

pretty sure u havent used a gto nor supra before and based them off statistics.

[ Post merged on Oct 17 2012, 08:04 PM ]
gto has average accel compared to supra.
Both have good speed but cornering kills, not that bad but just not on par with evo counterpart.
Both holds road and ground well.

Only weakness of gto is cornering. They go in fast but exit is shabby compared to their counterpart. I can play ninja game using fd tactics, ur just not skilled enough thats all.

Gto is a tank only with bodykit on, no kit as paper as fd, even the rims counts in being tank.

Heard my name here...Thank you for praising my car...Have been using E6 since upgrading from the Evo 3.Found that it could do what Evo 3 could not do.

Here are some pics of it...

Alright here's my breakdown on the kyoko tuned E6 present cards i've used few some seesions months ago, and sessions yesterday.

E6.

Great Agility, Medium/Decent Top Speed/ Great balanced (but slowly increasing accel past the 7th redzone nefpre 8th rev)

Weight is actually lighter than i thought against heavier builds on E9s, i had battles against all 3x e9s, mixed of e8s and e9s and etc.

All i can say is. The E6 can fare battles, with some difficulty, but not as much as any other car would, in otherwords, its a tank machine, going sudo kyoichi mode like u do would benefit unless the opponent is better and faster than u and u know u cant pass him easily whether how he rams or blocks? You're screwed.

BECAUSE?
1. It feels exactly like an E3, slidy and speedy, opposed to its actual form, tank weight power and balance, ONLY when it gets higher speed limit at its rev zone limit or gear limit, it starts to feel opposite and exactly like an e3, basically if u push the car to the limit, it will begin to feel like the e3, and wont be better, u need to balance its rev gears, the speeed and pace it.

2. Its good. but like i said, I'm not sure what else to say kyoko, but it can destroy...

I cant remember what happened, but i can win against an e8 1on1
Its built for 1b1 or 1v2 but not 1v3. because e9s are weight+speed attack oriented, aka. the craze. so its still better than e6, but it doesn't mean e6 CAN"T WIN. it CAN, just need patience pacing and great mind games. And a godly amount of blocking power and potential, in which its weight isn't as good as i thought it would in blocking, becaues of two other reasons:

i, i didnt play activately for 10 weeks so i rusty.
ii, its actually not heavier than e8s/e9s at points in certain parts of the car.

Especially in the middle of the car, but its a tank in sideways battles i presume.

Basically, pace and calm will win the game wiht it, with rams and blocks or no.

Pushing for speed orientated and max rev and speewd will only make it turn into a e3..... even with its current tuning making it bad...

SLIDIER THAN ANYTHING ELSE.

But the best thing about the E6 is this.
Varied Speed / Gear Ratio and weight and balancing with its current adapative limits, with the whole when to shift and stuff. its quite good coz when it reaches 2.30 or 3 o clockl dial at the rev zone at 6-7th rev before its max at 8 and 9 its really slow build up therefore its good to test when to shift to variate your speed andetc.

And by that, makes a good adapting car. But i still suck though>

I haven't lost full losses.
40 battles, 29-32 wins at 3rd or 2nd place. not last place.

I made alot of ppl rq, rage and refuse, as well as leave game.

Its an awesome car with lots more potential, its up to the driver ot master it.

Also, when i first used it in t.a and stuff, i destroyed my personal t.a reciords espceially hakone by 5-10 seconds so that means its good.

I'm just confused at it because im adjust and experienced with it because
"The more u know, the more confused if u experiement"

ALSO DON"T EVEN TOUCH OR BLIEVE WHAT GUNMA SAID ABOUT THE TAKMI E6 TUNE, its f**ken stupid than the stupid TAKMI E6 car, it slides worse and isn't even stable even on straights and osaka. evne at 760B.

I know gunma's video review on the E6 nearly killed ur mt career kyoko because u main it, but no, TAKMI tune is not the same as KYOKO JANE TUNE. Kyoko, you're tune is far SUPERIOR and better.

I know because i used BOTH, and i know.

Dont' give up kyoko, dont let reviews take what u down, because its opinions and not facts until its tested, experienced and agreecd upon from mutually understanded opinions which then becomes fact.

EDIT- Its heavy, for sure. Just becomes lighter the more faster its pushed to the limit and yeah.

i have 2 e6s and i rarely use it cuz it does not take hits well compared to the e3 & if u know me then u know what i mean

any car can take a hit but not all cars can take it well

my e3 is not tanked as my cosmo but its quite solid when it comes to taking some hits, my e6 is a little less solid & less hit taking (imo)

So, you're saying E3 is slidey, fast and take hits easily with the whole slide factor and speed/ and responsiveness

As opposed to E6 is pretty much movement and agitly and a little weighty as bonus, but sacrificed specs are more hits taken as effect.

Ah alright.

I'm actually gonna drive a E3/E6/E5 next week on max tune 2. I'm pretty good at driving fast lines and blocking. The question is which is heavier can take hits and hits harder? I'll be playing mostly on WMMT3 but i dabble in everything up to 3DX+. I'm also interested in fish tailing. Cause that will get you killed in matches. (I love my S13 but I don't like to battle with it for that reason).

TL,DR: Which is the most tanky (heavy, takes hits, gives hits)? E3,E5,E6? What are their fish tailing characteristics?

e5 not sure,

e3 is faster but too me it fishtails.

I was asked to review the e6 that i vsed against grim.

From playing against him and not knowing the settings the e6 is the most all arounded out of the e3/e5/e6 combo. Each has their own advatange. Here is the List since i have an E5 myself and may driven an E3.

This regards dressups as well. assuming people believe it matters.

E3- Light Weight, Semi decent gear ratio, seems like a car which would be use for a high line attacking battle car not a ramming car although it does have some blocking ability.

E5- HeavyWeight, high 4th/5th gear ratio, the best ramming car out of the 3. But when it comes down to crashing, the 2rd and 3rd ratio are terrible so if you crash and you miss. The fall is hard.

E6- More lightweight than the E5 and a more even gear ratio the most overall car for outrun/battle. I didnt vs it long enough and on proper battle conditions.

IMO
