based on your preference your choice would be acceleration type meaning a good chance to tackle Yokohane and NBL-Kiba maps

My suggestions for that would be for the wing is GT straight wing some say that it is stable for straights, the rims it would depend on your choice tho or wait for other Evo8 veterans for good advice on rims

Yeah, I did the GT Wing Straight, not the 3D one.... Sorry for not giving a detail explanation...

This is the settings that I used from MT3 and never changed it (except for stickers)... And when I lost all my cards due to burglars stolen all my stuffs (including all my MT cards), recently I just made a new legit Evo VIII and use the same settings... Since I'm getting used to it (can beat anyone from any tracks just by using these settings), I wanna try new combinations that will enhance the car...

That's why I ask the Evo veterans in this thread....

Alright, I'll try those settings if I have time to change it.... Hope that it doesn't make the car too slidy....

Deffy is your Evo 8 a gsr or an rs. The rs is suppose to be the Japanese version of the Evo 8. The rs is a lighter car than the gsr, so running complete stock with 57fs makes it the perfect cornering machine.

If your car is the gsr I suggest the running aero a with Yokohama advan v2 with no wing. It is a very time attack oriented build focusing on exit speeds rather than grip, so your rear may slide out

Mine is GSR one....

Well, that's ok, I got Seige and RayoK's suggestions, and will try it out during weekends...

How's Galaxy World doing on MC? I left Sydney for good since 2007 (Finished Uni before) and I used to live just above MCGW...

Cause quite a good scene before back in my days there...

Im attracted to this idea,
red evo 3
aero e
wing by aero
aero mirror
carbon duct hood
carbon trunk
gold RCII rims

that would looks so like the e7 in ID3, the monster tune RAWR!!!

You mean the identical twin is the E5?Really feel that the E6 remains the same as it is in DX PLus.

Now doing a ninja or weight of the car in MT4 is irrelevant liao?In that case, think will try out the TME aero kit for my E6 this weekend.

ninja has been obselete the moment rocketing was introduced to counter it.

And weight always plays a part.
I just find that somewhere e6 has buffed abit, just not sure since i dont own one anymore.
Aero c with enkei forge is good! Try it!

@RayoK
I did the setups yesterday, and, yeah, it's a bit challenging but still can manage it... But I can't find the ones that i really need...

But, anyways, nice setups.... win 5 races out of 5 races, and those that raced me yesterday said the car is too hard to be pushed away, somehow being a Tank car...

@Seige
I tried the setups yesterday too and tried in few TAs, well, it's great for TA and exit speed is consistent, but I would like to do an all-around Evos with decent speed and decent grip... Your setups are, so far, the closest to what I had in mind, but still lacking the "little mini bit" of grip...

What do you guys think would be the most balanced setup?

Current:
Aero D
Rays Advan RG2
3D Wing
Aero Wing

Feels a bit slidy though..

Tried the Enkei J-SMs with the TME aero kit on 2 rounds of ghost battles just now on my E6...Exit speeds are much higher and the handling is just pure heavenly.

Think will choose red as my renewal color and stick a Ralliart sticker on it.Now I am a Tommi Makinen wannabe. And not forgetting a carbon boot as well.

very speedy , even more than the S30z, but isn't very tanky it can't resist burning or etc. but can slide out or burns at times, but it bounces upon slams.

In otherwords, its a fast lightweight car, too fast i may say.
E5 and e6 are more balanced and resistant.

E8,9 is heavier, and the latter is speed efficient

E10 is a jack of all trade of each of every evo, but a master of none... except for its size. thats all.

^both evo 8 and 9 are good picks, though it is overused/bandwagoned, so if you want a non bandwagon i suggest evo 3 since its light
