I'm a fan of EVOs, so which one is good to choose from?

if you're a WRC addict... Evo VI

while Evo VIII and IX are overused by bandwagoners...

since you chose Evo X the limitations tho are on hi-speed straight courses otherwise all technical courses are good on that car with a little elbow grease err... dedication to learn its quirks laugh.gif

The reason of getting an Evo5 was the reason of my little brother's obsession of Mine's evo 5 drag version in GT3 (funny part that it was tweaked to move at rally courses) and also named it as his favorite touhou character... Youmu the half ghost gardener laugh2.gif

Deffy is your Evo 8 a gsr or an rs. The rs is suppose to be the Japanese version of the Evo 8. The rs is a lighter car than the gsr, so running complete stock with 57fs makes it the perfect cornering machine.

If your car is the gsr I suggest the running aero a with Yokohama advan v2 with no wing. It is a very time attack oriented build focusing on exit speeds rather than grip, so your rear may slide out

GSR has more power~~ Adds a little heavyness than the RS~ :3

there is no performance diff, performance being speed and stock based handling attribute. DU only add or minus weight making u feel the different handling. RS is a tiny bit lighter than GSR. Only time ive seen that advantage in action is in mt2 hakone, otherwise they are basically same.

GSR and RS doesn't feel that much of a difference. I used both and has the same setting and honestly it feels the same. Only difference is the antena and stock rims, RS stock rims is just... pinch2.gif

thats cause of all those DU, play around with the weight and u will never feel that difference. Back in mt2 hakone outbound, areas where the GSR lets go of gas the RS can just run it over without gas off. Of course, dont expect a 10km faster speed, u just turn in tighter on the RS thats all. U dont need to try that now, post mt2 hakone is widened abit, that advantage is practically just a variant badge thats all.

how horrible is the E6 in TA?
Someone said it's quite horrible lol.
Im not a good player myself so my times are not fast lol, but not sure if it's the car thats hindering me or both.

and the model times and top times in TA, is that for your country or worldwide??

Thanks

What really? The E6 is the first car i broke my hakone records with in 1 try... even though i'm bad at t.a

It's more like a rally car... so its slow and controlling - balance slaloms and varied amounts of shifting time. pick up and zones and style.... and shit.

Compared to other cars same patterns E6 is variety.

But yeah its not good in battle as i heard from KYOKO but he manages to main one and smash ppl day by day.

I used his car and it aws damn nice too.

I wouldn't mind maining an E6.

Are you talking about in 3dx+ or MT4?

im talking about MT4,
And right I just checked the IR and seems like the Top times whilst playing TA is actually the times for all countries with intl version.

well in battle its okay, im mainly concerned with TA since I spend 90% of my time TAing lol.

so yea I was just curious if its really horrible for TA?
For example in C1 out, current record for E6 is 2'51'107, i'm quite sure thats not impressive, so what I'm asking is is it very very very hard to get to 50s with E6?

hope that makes sense, if anyone could share some light that would be awesome.
I dont exactly know hard/easy it is to get 51 in c1 out lol, so i'm not sure if 51 is impressive enough for an E6

I can't the guy to talk about that.
I never broke 54' on C1 in or out. I'm more of a battle guy.

Its easy to adapt but the rewards . ratio is needed to be earnt for the E6 in 3dx+... hakone is more fun with e6., becuse of its varied potential. In TA mostly, not most in battle.

In MT4 i wouldn't know, unless it became more battle car than t.a car in mt4 then pretty much namco reversed it inside out... like mirror.

But the E5 is more speed efficient and response
while the E6 is control balance weight and shift variety with response.

In 3dx+ E5 resist damage more than E6 from N643 said.
So i'm sure its reversed and swithced out for the MT4. lol

2.51 is impressive for e6. For outward almost all cars can touch 2.51 range cause of the course structure itself. Breaking into 2.50.5xx might be possible for e6, but i think thats the fastest range u can go for e6. Just keep trying.

Just in case,
I was asking which is more visually good despite the difference of the two cars; E5 and E6...

I am not a TA man...my E6 is more prepped up for battles. You should hold your own against other cars with the E6 in terms of ramming, very robust. But my style of driving is like Sudo Kyoichi...that is to always stay behind and pick a time to strike and pull away gradually.Accel is slightly slower than the E3 but it is always enough to catch up with the 1st car.

I had fun with it...Love affair with the E6 is not over for me.
