dress up does something imo otherwise im sure everyone notices the 'weight' difference between a full stock setup to a dress up setup

What these people meant by performance is "I feel the car is faster like that" keyword is feel... Whatever you fit your car will not go faster or slower, its only the feel you get you think makes it faster.

not entirely, yes it does something to weight but still heavily depends on user, no two user achieves the same result from a similar application.

And then of course if im can produce results using 'this' does not mean you can do the same because it is still depend heavily on user. There, extended and simplified easily understood.

Stating that setup doesn't affect the car, particularly to those come from HK, is pretty much like telling a bunch of morons that the earth is round who think that it is flat because all they see is flat when they look down to their feet. In one of the forums in HK, there is a thread of more that 1900 pages discussing the setup of evo9.

I personally dont believe that setup does a thing to the performance of my cars, just in the way that it your brain wont be smarter if you wear an Afro. Yet most players in HK, teams, rename kids, etc., wtill believe that setup is god.

That was a very odd analogy. Since an an Afro, is LITERALLY an accessory. which only some people can grow.

A better one would be "Even though you have a bigger head, does not mean you are smarter."

But meh... I'm now sitting on the fence with this question. If you are a shitty player, no matter what set up you use or you believe is "good", your car and how you play will still be SHIT.

Can't agree more. However, many players in HK, if they blame everything possible but their shitty skills. That's why I hate them and don't accepting challenges.

my job doesnt need me to have really good english, people also wont understand and dialects are the ones that helped me more. The only english that i write everyday is my name on the attendance roster...

its same everywhere. Blaming steering, gear that went N because they cant shift properly, sits that are not properly adjusted.

I had such a experience oftenly in HK...I was doing DU for my FC last week, in a very busy arcade, and with 8 machines....the bunch I played was with 3 kid ramfesting at the moment, their force are so great that, my shifter which was put to 5 at that moment, were pulled back to N all of a sudden, and I found that shifter was so loose that it could not be put back to the 5th gear....nearly cost me a loss...

and not to mention that shock came in to my cabinet...

Guess the machines there are pretty much worn out?

I had an experience whereby halfway I played I felt my cab was shaking...
Turns out the kids were shaking the machines -.-

The only thing I truely hate and will not play in the machines is when it has power steering off because its either had error or whatever those kids did to it.
I mean come on!!!

And there was this time I told a kid off for purposely causing repeated steering error to the steering whenever hes gonna lose the battle, he said no power steering is good because its faster for ta.....
