whats the best for hakone then hands down in handling

well either waywe all go thru basic tuning, im guessing you mean the dressup upgrades and the right HP for each course

if u are to use Enkei ... its too grippy ... since u dun need the grip in Hakone ....
if u want a heavy tank setting ... use Aero B and Enkei with 3D wing and Bonnet with Duct ... take note ... the above setting is grippy ... it wun perform in Hakone ...

I was thinking the exact same thing, lol, only did 1 TA on Hakone with the Z back when I didn't know what I was doing and battled there maybe twice.

Did a Wangan Line Eastbound run with it and somehow couldn't beat it with my A80 Supra, R33 and GTO... Wtf?

i hit higher speeds on wangan east... than west. :/

for me i think 180sx has better handling than Z32

thats the point, the Z32 has crappy handling...

it doesn't even perform nearly as well as half the cars out there...

Z31 and S30 are completely two different stories though...

In a nut shell,

Z31 >>>>>>>>x>>>>>>> Z33
Nice handling >>x>> Crappy handling
Slowest>>>>>>x>>>>>>Fastest

ok yesterday I was spankin this S15, but the loser kept playing me intent on beating me in osaka and hakone. when he was fed up feeding the machine, he said "The Silvia is better than that old hunk of crap why can't it take you?"
I said because your lines suck, but then I got to thinking,
what are the strong points of the S15?

It's lighter and more agile than the 300ZX but slides more than the Z32 IMO...
I only drove it once.

but again, it's the driver, not the car.

I drive a S15 for MT2
It's not that bad actually LOL

z33 is hard to control but its fun to drive

fast, powerful, sexy-looking, its a awesome car.

S15 owns in ramming + pushing in MT2, I haven't tried in MT3.

It's the one car every R32/S30 driver feared in Version A, because the S15 can ram and block so easily.

Pretty much exactly what Kenji. Its acceleration is good and it gets up to speed quite fast once its in 4th gear. Its not a n00b friendly car as it will slide a lot if you don't know what your doing.

I recently changed my wheels from RAYS VOLK TE37 to WATANABE EIGHT SPOKE. and noticed my S30 slipping a lot, it slides from simply switching lanes even in the straights, but i noticed the great acceleration. But I'm not really into those slippery tires.

Do you guys have any other suggestion on this? I mean what rims are there that isn't much that slippery as the watanabe but still gives good acceleration?

[btw, am still in dressup level 3, still finishing the story so not much time to focus on the dress up that much]

Slippery wheels forces you to learn how to control your car better...keep it...

I was really frustrated since I can't even do a good circuit-style lines. It really slips too much for me.

Try steering a bit early and counter-steer...
That's how I cope with my 3.8RS anyway...
All power and no handling...very much like the 350Z

i loved the 350z

until i bought one and the handling backfired on me.. fcuk you sonoda.. i'll always remember you shaded my card

and make me lose passion for the 350 =_=

I second that. the Z33 kicks ass in reality, but is really downplayed on this game. Still awesome tho

Z32 forever man!

This was the way the Devil Z was meant to feel, lol, untamed and hard to control.

I debuted the Watanabe with Sonoda on C1, guh. I hate C1.

So far, I could handle the car with the watanabe on the other tracks except Hakone and C1. I just don't quite get it how to enter some of the curves in C1.
