Well getting dress-ups before you fully tune up your car is quite pointless actually...
You will always be at a disadvantage with an under-tuned car against fully tuned cars no matter what you do to it...

Does anyone know a good battling setup for a S30? Im running on the 'Devil Z' setup. (Aero A, Aero mirrors etc...) Its pretty good with battles, just wondering if you guys have suggestions to make it even more harder to ram or better to ram with?

well currently i hav a good setup for my s30z, well I got 2 setups. I purely for Hakone and another that can do both Osaka and Hakone quite well.

Hakone setup.
- aero kit A
- Enkei RC-T4
- aero mirrors
- GT wing
- carbon ducted hood
- pacman sticker

Osaka setup (current).
- aero kit A
- Yokohama Advanced RGII
- aero mirrors
- GT wing
- carbon ducted hood
- pacman sticker

This is all on a full tuned s30z.

O and I found out today, that the sticker does add abit of weight to your car incidentally, I didn believe it until today. But it is good if you need a bit heavier car to increase your grip.

now that you mention it.... laugh.gif nah it does weigh it down abit. I remember there was a thread askin about it. I think it does abit. Cos I had my enkei wheels and the steering was abit stiff, but afta I place the sticker on, the steerin became lighter. So explain that?

Aero kits, fine.
GT Wings, logical.
Wheels, sure.
Now you're telling people that stickers add to performance..?

No! Yesh, it must be just me! But I remember some thread awhile back where people talked about stickers actually doing something. And I remember cos I kept sayin bs. That is why I refused to place on stickers for awhile. Can't anyone remember that thread? I remember answering that neons dont do anything. But I remember people arguing that stickers do.

Anyways.... my s30z is comin along fine. With and without stickers.... But I am moving it along and removing my stickers again. But yer, I need to take a picture before I do.

I tried out the Osaka setup and it is really good for Hakone on 3rd and 4th gear. At 760HP. I also did Osaka and that can go for 760 or 780HP.

they asked for a BATTLE setup, not a Hakone or an Osaka setup...

-.-"

and... since when do stickers and neons add anything?

That is for battle. I recommend it. But it isnt good on straights like Wangan or NBL. Yokohane is alright as well as C1. I think that removing the wing would help it.

When you say a battle setup, you dont have a battle setup for different courses... coz then you'll be in trouble when people pull you to a different course...

you can have different setups for TA, but to have different setups for battling different courses is just dry.gif

the s30 is a really good car. fast, grippy. it might take a while to appreciate it though. just hold on and keep tuning and maybe experiment with your dressup.

@Dare - O u can use that setup on wangan and NBL if u want, u will just b suicidal thats all. laugh.gif

O and I am wondering if anyone could help me with a setup that would be both good for Osaka and Hakone! (as they are the only tracks people battle on at my arcade) I want it fast but at the same time have really good handling. So any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

@Death_B2KSJ

Setups doesn't mean too much in MT... Just a "slight" change on handling though, but not really much. Skilled drivers wouldn't be suicidal even though they are using a car with a setting that is so much screwed up.. (e.g. Z33, stock body, rays rims, no wing.. carbon hood.. can't imagine how crazy it would slide.. oO)

Actually, you might try this setting on your S30. I found that this setting is the best for an S30 in most of the courses.. But remember that this is my opinion.. My feelings and ur feelings could be different.. Because not everyone have the same driving style @_@ :
- Aero Set A
- Wing : comes with aero set A
- Aero Mirror
- Watanabe EightSpoke Rims
- Carbon-Fiber Hood (Duct)
- Any selection of stickers
- Any selection of neons

And, neons and stickers doesn't add or reduce anything from the car..

But all I have to do is try it out and judge it for myself. Thanks.

Nws bro..

You might wanna forget the RAYS for ur S30.. =_=" it just slides toooooooooo much..
Better use the Watanabe EightSpoke. I found out that those rims are the best to be fitted into an S30..

But anyways, just try using the RAYS first, then if you feel like it, go for it.. But if you don't, try any other rims.. ^o^

I tried RAYS TE37 on my Z33, and it slides like crazy.. =_=" so I might wanna go back to ENKEIs..

yer ok. cos I heard a few people use rays te37 for their s30z and they think it is quite good. but that is their opinion. I want to try it out myself first. Anyways the next wheels I am unlocking are rays. So why not go back to the 37s for a test run and then when I unlock the last watanabe, then I can try out my 8 spokes again.

o and enkeis are the best for the z33. tongue.gif My friend has one. He is an experimental guy. He found out that most of the enkeis will fit nicely on his z33. But that is his opinion. I think he currently is on the Enkei RS+M. He likes them more than the RC-T4 as they are a lil looser.

Yeah.. IMO ENKEIs are fitting nicely into a Z33.. My Z33 is using the ENKEI RPF-1 before, and it tackles Hakone nicely.. Got 2'31"xxx with that car on IB.. >,< which is.. Quite fast, IMO for a Z33.. But still, slow.. =_="
