Well...from my experience...
I can tell you that using a much higher hp than recommended on a certain course teaches you how to control your car better...
I started C1 with 780/D, NBL with 800/D, Osaka with 800/D, Hakone I somehow started with 740/B and went on to 760/D... laugh.gif

@FClover : Agree, actually the main intention was to know how to control/get used to your car's Over/Understeer at different HP. After that would be: " How can i run faster than that???" tongue.gif ...Btw where are you located at?

RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT.........
I find that quite untrue as ramming is part of the game in here...
At least on most cases...some people even go as far as ramming in boost off...
I find that really noobish... dry.gif

Then again there's people like me...
Who races clean unless you started something 1st...
Though kinda rare but we exist... laugh.gif

So here's my problem we all know that the Z33 isn't really that "great" is C1, but IS there a way that I could somehow make it a little better in C1. I mean what are the recommended settings? Which is more influencing in terms of grip, body kits/wheels/wing or there is no way to really measure it up?

EDIT:
Wayne, if you don't mind, can you share what's your Z33 currently equipped?

@Calx Zinra : Its my honour to share, its almost similiar to Blackbird's setting

Car Name : Wayne
Car Colour : Light Purple
Car Mod : Fire 2
GT-C Rim
Aero Set C
Aero Bonnet w/ Duct
Aero Mirrors
Purple Neon
Purple Aura

Actually all cars work fine in all maps, its just a matter of how used you are with your car and if the setting of the car suits your style of game play. If you prefer tight handling or drifty. Personally i think Rim makes a bigger difference when it comes to tunning.

Yeah, found out the hard way. Took a few tries to get S-rank on Level10 in C1 in 10-Outrun mode (and had to use 720B and MT as well) with that car - it sure is a beast of a car.

@Sailor Enlil : erm.... frankly speaking.... the Outrun is... very easy in MT3.... Mt2's outrun you cant afford to even have a minor bump on the wall.... MT3 i see ppl crash and still gets S -.-" , need to tune the car to your preference.

I which I could say that for all my cars, but my Supra is one hell of a car to drive on C1 (still can't get a S-rank on Level 10 - the bumps my Supra gets are the kinds that really throw it back ways away and resulting major loss of pace). Similar with my GT-R R34, another "slippery" car.

@Sailor Enlil : dude then its a sign that your current car mod for the car doesn't suit ur gaming style smile.gif now i can handle my GTO say: whenever i approach "that left turn" i jus need to turn the steering to 10 o'clock and i will not get bumps or crash.
As i'm using GTO most of the time now, so i used GTO as an example.
Hope you get what i mean. Your car setting suits your gamming style, you would be able to complete the turn with ease. As for the "maintain speed" or taking corners in high speed its "user problem" then.

Well, I've already mastered the GTO as far as I'm concerned (getting S on 10-Outrun lvl 10 on C1 (both dirs) and NBL(both dirs) was a snap, and I'm really mixing it with the other guys in VS games). The Supra is still a challenge (despite the current setup giving the best results so far), and I just barely got S on 10-Outrun lvl10 on C1 only today (on the flip side, my Impreza GDB-C loves those curves, and getting S on 10-Outrun lvl10 in C1 is easy).

Anyways we're getting off topic now. Besides my Z33 "Blackbird" is starting to get it's "wings" spread, eg yesterday was its maiden 3-star win in a VS match (going against a pair of seasoned drivers both with lightweight cars), and I nearly beat the local "ace of aces" drivers in a 1-on-1 VS match (the guy infamously known as KAREN and has a virtually unbeatable Supra).

Haha...automatic... "Never drive up a mountain or canyon in an automatic car, haha."

Theres no challenge when you set your car to auto because you can't shift when you want to (or need to) and I find automatic only for those can't drive a stick car or whose arm is broken (Need it be the right or left arm.)

Anyways this is a Z's thread, so no more talk about off topic things.

Once my Devil hits A9, I'll start Outruns...*drools*
