And I hope the R35 spec-V will be better overall...in-game!

Probably not. It seems that Nissan is trying to keep the GTR35 pristine and modifications is not encouraged. Even a spec with better performance is introduced by itself instead of allowing its tuning house to build their own demo version.

Doesn't really help that R-35 is magnitudes stronger than the standard road cars at 400ish hp (Jezza even claimed that it can go to 500 something). I suspect that this R35 car is actually a dumbed down version, and the 'tuning' we do unlocks the true potential of the car (and then cranks it up to eleven).

R35 in real life is a fully-automatic car.

kudos to anyone who tries to drive the R35 on AT.

Semi-automatic with paddle shift. Not exactly automatic.

to be more exact

Its a rear mounted six-speed BorgWarner designed dual clutch semi-automatic transmission built by Aichi Machine Industry is used in conjunction with the ATTESA E-TS system to provide power to all four wheels and along with Nissan's Vehicle Dynamics Control (VDC-R) to aid in stability. Three shift modes can also be selected for various conditions.

like the Golf GTi DSG and Porsche PKD

I do agree that the first 20 story is just like "repairing" the car, and I don't like that feeling.

It's a good deal slower than manual. Or at least it feels so... The shift to top gear is also set quite high, I.E. it takes longer to hit top speed. I've been setting car records for R2s because nobody seems to use it here in Indonesia.

@brian: any major differences from the original? Handling, accel, and the likes...

I wonder if Namco will someday put the classic Eunos Roadster as a secret car...

well I haven't driven a tuned R35 ( I do have a original R35, but its only at step 1 and after I know the Spec V code I didn't bother to tune it again......so i really can't tell, but at step 1 the V spec seems to be a little sharper in handling.........I could be wrong though because what can you tell at such an early stage, every car feels almost the same.........

I am really hoping Namco will release the New Hiace in DX+........or the Fuso truck.......

Much like real life, you have more control of the car with manual transmission, plus the AI doesn't shift at the exact rev spots.

Nah, doesn't make you a chump at all. I go auto when the shifters are out, and it takes skill to work things the way you want. It's basically harder to drive auto, so if you can do it well, kudos to you. ^^

or the gear shift is so broken it jumps back to neutral on its own..........there are lots of broken machines in HK so you sometimes need to use AT...........

Hey has anybody tried to get this car?
http://www.bandainamcogames.co.jp/am/vg/wa...xplus/miraiken/
For some reason I cannot seem to get it, is it only for Japanese machines or and I misunderstanding the article (don't know Japanese)?

So that would be:
N-1-N-3-N-5-N-2-N-3-N-5-N-3-N-3-N-5-N-5-N-5

Correct?

Then crap, why didn't it work when I attempted it a while ago? sad.gif. I guess I must've missed something or shifter didn't register a step or something.

I guess I have to try again next week sad.gif

when u play and the shifter is not broke yet when you try the code it doesn't work its cuz sometimes when going back to neutral it takes a while to register. just my guess. when my friend was doing time attack and screwed up he was messing with the shifter till someone battled him. he went from 5th gear to neutral and it took half a sec before going neutral. (my guess that sometimes the shifter has a slight delay, to be short)
