What is the ideal car to use in Hakone and what setup? Which Aero set

All stock! But seriously though setup doesn't matter here too much. All you need is skill. And to just show you proof I use a FD and I still get a 5 minute time here @_@ Showing how much I suck at Hakone XD

@jerada: it's better if u play the computer ghosts on hakone for practise atm. and u can also dress up the car at the same time...no point practise on the hakone ta for now...

get at least +800m vs comp ghosts and u shd be at 4'4X"XXX...then u can start doing the hakone ta for further practice...

most regular players feel that one shd ultimately aim for +1000m agst comp ghosts and that shd bring u to '37 to '39 range for the time attack...

I'm kind of done with setup already but I'll take your advise XD more coins is better than more mileage XD

it's just my suggestion..cos that's what i did when i was totally noob at hakone..

if u play the whole hakone map, u might get demoralised due to many knocks...better to break up the map into IB and OB to practise...

the dressing up part is not relevant to u...so no advantage there...maybe for another new car?

and watching good players/pros play hakone in rl >>> watching youtubes...so watch them when u can...see how much they turn the wheel for the different turns of the course...

for me in hakone is trial by fire

Well... I could play with the stickers and stuff like that? XD Yeah I keep on staring at pro Hakone players here. But I find it kinda funny though. I had a battle once with this Hakone pro guy that uses an evo 8. And I still won against him. And I didn't hit the walls at all. I was actually good in that game. But when I do TA or ghost. I seem to fail a lot @_@

that must mean you're a more battle-orientated player

if someone runs the lines much better than u at hakone...it's unlikely that u can win...whether or not u are super at battling, at ramming or watever...XD
