@Kungfool
He was angry the whole time after. I think he was serious. But I kept on blocking him. And I rode him on corners which irritated him some more. And frankly that was one of the best Hakone drives I've had. As far as I've experienced, most of my greatest runs happen in a battle o_o because battles as far as I know are unpredictable @_@

most regular players feel that one shd ultimately aim for +1000m agst comp ghosts and that shd bring u to '37 to '39 range for the time attack...

I usually hit 1,<0 to 1>xx at ghosts but I regularly hit LOW 4'40"s and rarely 4'39"s...

maybe lol... But I freakin sweat a lot in battles LOL XD

Heh though in my case, my back sweats A LOT during Hakone TA....and that's not a good thing. sad.gif

Heck, that 4'43 run I got made by back all sweaty and stuff and I almost got sick because of that. I guess I should only do Hakone TA only if I have like a face towel or a bimpo in my back. Otherwise, I could get sick without it (and it has happened to me twice).

keep up, yes...but not win...=P

need to be within 20m at the final turn to stand a chance...

of cos we are not talking abt the scenario where pros fighting it out at the end, and the newb just ninja unnoticed to the finishing line...

i am talking abt 1 pro agst 1 newb in hakone...1v1...even with boost on...not easy for the newb...

@Kungfool
I guess I could call myself an average player. I suck at TA but I do shine a lot in battle. I usually get the first win but only gets stolen when the two people at my back think of giving me a double team attack. I'm no pro that's for sure but I do believe I'm no newb XD

The last time it happened was from two weeks ago after some intense battles with more experienced players (mostly Hakone battles). I found it really hard just to keep up.

Anyways, in short, I don't know if it was the poor ventilation, my weak immune system that time, rapid changes in the weather or whatever.......but yeah, I realize that I felt something nasty in my throat and I started coughing.

Lasted for a week and I didn't wanna go outside of the house for a whole week. I just go to school then stay at home (nowhere else) for that whole week.

Note to self: Whenever I go for Hakone TA, I must have towel or bimpo in my back.......lest I wish to become ill again sad.gif

anyway my fastest time in hakone as of now is 4'39 and for the past to weeks i tried to make it 4'38 or 4'37 but all i got was 4'40 and 4'39.i think i have to improve my line a bit more because at this rate it might not go down 4'39 ahahahaha
