lol yeah, well my Cp1 and 2 is going very nicely..

BUT my cp 3 and 4 is TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

but yeah i just finished ghost on my FD so i will be trying out more TA. I set up my FD before DX+ but turn out the setting didnt work, so yeah... had to finish the ghost to test out

ahh, is it after the roundabout??

becuase if it's the fast-slow section transition, you most probs have to half-release gas (like taro's video) on apex to gain enough grip without compromising exit.

also when you walltap it's lower braking as well..

well this is coming from 760...i dunno about 780..u probs have to use previous methods from DX to play 780

Damn, what with the MX-5 in DX+?

My MX-5 is acting weird. Compared to DX, the MX-5 is now faster......but maybe way too fast. It really feels strange to me.

Really feels strange and I don't know how to describe it.

I'm gonna try playing with it for three months and see and test this out even more.

What do you guys think though? Any possible ideas and explanations?

I haven't even been able to TA This map ever since DX+ Came out, I shall make an attempt to TA This track again, Is this map any different to what it was in DX?

hey guys......

I have a problem.... basically this will be a long read, so I'll apologize in advance.

My problem is... I can't play in this course AT ALL.
I hit every single corner, yes, every single one.

I don't think its because of my car.
I use a Z33, and if I remember correctly, back in the MT3 days I've heard that Z33 is one of the worst cars to use on Hakone.
While MR2 is one of the best.

but I don't play much DX, last time I play was around Jan 2008 LOL.
but I've been playing again this month. so yea I'm not sure if Z33 still sucks on Hakone.

But I mean, I don't think so, because Im pretty sure someone here who drives a Z34 took the Hakone crown.
And I assume the 33 and 34 is similar XD

any advice?

Any car can get through hakone.

Practice makes perfect, watch ta videos, see how others do it in your local arcade, watch, copy and adapt.

It will take some time.

Also, keep in mind that a lot of people have trouble with this course because they try to drive it like a highway course. Hakone is a mountain course. Try and use the brakes often, very often in hakone.

The way I learned was trying to get through a hakone ta by going 825 and trying to get through without hitting a wall.

Then from that, i tried 760 and 740 and gained an appreciation for the grip i have then I would form lines from that. Such as wall tapping on the red corners.

just keep practicing, battles on hakone and ta.

you have to be more specific, every turn is different. But, as a general rule of thumb, brake when you need to, to avoid hitting a wall, because its better to brake hard then to crash.

gas off makes your car slide more then it should, you should exercise caution since it will not slow your car down as much and will result in a crash because you entered a corner too fast.
