QUOTE (Jimmy155 @ Yesterday, 1:40 AM) | how the f**k do u learn line when u r sliding around like an idiot.... bit more common sense plz
+ u wont be able to use the early cornering point like 825hp on 760hp which is the proper TA HP...
so how is that not f**king stupid |
Use 825 when you are LEARNING, the main problem for amateurs on hakone is that they don't brake enough, they treat it as a highway course. Using 825 and trying to get through in a clean run is a good exercise, since when you go to a feasible hp such as 740 or 760 they gain an appreciation for the grip they have and they will start to form a line with practice.
I don't understand why its such blasphemy to use 825 on hakone to learn how to brake effectively.
besides, its how I learn't, sure not much of a ta person myself but still, i'm competitive.

I agree with u to certain extent. However, let’s see, hmm how many braking there is on hokone (Proper TA 760hp). Inbound-->5 braking point and out of 5, 3 big brake, 2 small tap brake Out bound-->3 braking point, out of 3, 2 wall tap brake, and 1 medium bake. so all together there is only 8 main braking point with 760hp. IF u did on 825hp the breaking point is going to be more, and also lot heavier braking. Like.... I really don’t see the point of practising on high hp then dropping it down to 760hp overtime. The point I really like to make is 825hp and 760hp has completely different technique. 800hp to 825hp has very similar, so if u r used to 825hp u can jump into 800hp without too much problem. However, the gap between 800hp to 760hp is big, u can’t use pretty much most of technique from high end hp. As well at the end of the day, r u going to use 825hp on battle or trying to achieve personal best TA? Don’t think so.. Unless u r phill

point taken. If anything, i just feel it teaches people to slow down to avoid just slamming into every corner. But however you learn i guess.
