i'm sure 740 / G on a Fairlady Z (S30, Z31, Z33, and Z34) with grippy wheels will work nicely, even for TA .. need someone to verify this.

I use 740.
it slides enough with 740, 760 is crazy.
U dun even need a high hp to win a battle, I've seen someone with 660 hp owning here.

in DX+, after the first red turn at CP1, there is a "straightaway part" is sticking to the right side right before the downhill part good?

EDIT: I will have to pull to the left side faster so I can turn in on the right turn downhill roller coaster.

Here in sd we don't have many players but most of the ones that play always play without boost so the battles are a little more crazy. Most of the time we race for real so when we started playing wangan we only really touched when someone tried to take the inside. But as I saw wangan player battles around the world they get very physical. Not many try to battle here but the few are all mostly hakone hardly Osaka or c1 mainly because theirs only two cabinets.

I dunno... the 760-780hp range is quite... normal... Over here people normally use 760hp for TA and 780hp for battling... and we're quite comfortable with it... On the flip side, when we get bored we play at 825hp...

in the old school times in the US region I live in, back in Wangan 3, people used to to abuse 800 / D (or DG) on car with good handling on Osaka to overpower people with less horsepower, when 800 or 820 was the max horsepower.

At the time, when you battled most players were not full-tuned, so 800 HP had a huge advantage.

@Half_active_mt_player
Whoa... chill buddy... the guy looks like he's at least trying to get along with people now... no need to go down to his level or to go as low as what he did before... careful before the mods give you a warning... though I can't fault you for feeling like that either... fear2.gif

Watch TA videos on youtube, watch the pros in your area and practice your TA runs. For battles, practice by playing with the best players in your area.

Have you tried doing some TA runs or participated on some battles on Hakone? If not, try it out the soonest possible time so that you'll have an idea where to begin.
