First ever TA attempt with an FD3S today, this was the second run out of three. The FD belongs to my friend Solstice.

Pretty slow for an FD but in those three runs I managed to best the PB I set in my JZA80. I might borrow this one or his other FD more often so I can hopefully get better. smile.gif

Thanks Jimmy155. But technically speaking. Since the whole physics has changed for MT4 from MT3dx+

Whats more important? (CP sections wise/ or entirety?)
Acceleration Control , Braking POints, Walltaps, Risky but efficient lines, and gas off and gass 1.5 boost gauge and etc. techniques?

I would like to start a serious discussion on this since My best on 3dx+ 4"54 and i can't seem to improve, i can visualize and remember the lines but either i'm afraid to step up new lines or ... etc.

And I'm rarely check youtube for t.a because i personally feel its not my style, as in... It's like im not driving my own way. =S

=/

key thing is foot work (Amount of gas release on the corner, and precise moment to applying the gas), ofcourse line is still important.. but line been pretty much same as DX+ its not much to worry.. IF you were doing well on previous version ....

My suggestion is;
-learn to divide throttle position into four precise position (1.75, 1.5, 1.25, 1.0 position)
-watch useful TA video to learn the line(as well throttle position).. game been expensive its best to do proper research
-Find a suitable car for yourself (ideally something you love driving)
-As always set your own goal

Thanks to you though I was able to push my Skura R34 to a 2"31"9XX on the Outbound.

After that, I can't beat it again. tongue.gif

Will try once I'm in the right mindset.
Antares saw me fail twice.

The last part of what you said is the best one, I can't expect myself to be 1mm from the guardrails so iill just be 7mm. etc etc.

Until i get used to it and get out of my comfort zone.

Thanks Jimmy155.

Guess I should analyse. visualze and apply trial and error and learn and incorperate my own ways of getting through hakone.

So many mini goals now... thanks!
