the two cars handle differently. but they are equally as fast in hakone.

some cars suit your driving style, some don't. if you're running the same lines, most likely the car you're most comfortable with will run better. they have not much difference in terms of timings on the IR anyway

Oh I see, yes I oso noticed it's harder to control the MX-5 at the exit of the corners compare to the FD.

QFT...I can do nuts with the RX-8 in Hakone either...
All my best times in Hakone were done by the FD...seconded by the FC...then the RX-8...
The difference is marginal though...since all 3 cars are similar to a point... laugh.gif

Really o.0? I get better times with my RX-8 compared to the FD. IMO, the acceleration in the RX-8 is alot faster than FD =s

Hmm, what's the rough percentage of how many corners you need to actually brake on if you're taking a good line?

only the red turns, & the tight serpentine corners after the RED S-Turn.

Nice tongue.gif

I know its not tight, its just that I either turn too early and hit the inside wall, or turn too late and hit the other inside wall.

U can't be serious...that's too much of a difference...

i would have retired long before the end out of frustration ==

on a side note...i wish hakone battles would have some traffic...like storymode...just to mix things up alittle... : )

I believe 4 SSS ranked cars battle have traffic? Not too sure. Hahaha 4 spws!

Did a 4-way battle on Outbound today; took first, which is a surprise considering it's my worst course.

I rarely hit 6th on my Evo9, which leads me to wonder if that's unusual. For the record, highest/lowest averages were 5th/3rd while I ran much of the course in 4th.
