All stock. You don't need to worry about setups for Hakone. Basically for a car when you're looking for a setup, you're looking for something you're comfortable with.

What is a good setup for the Evo9 on Hakone?

Try Aero A, stock bonnet, TC II tyres and no wing

set up don't matter man just how u drive the set up only matters if u r at 4'35 or so and u want faster coz any set up can do atleast 3 or 4 secs within the world record. as u can see there's a fckn z31 in the first page on the Internet ranking for hakone

It's the driver, not the car. Set up has nothing to do with it. It's your knowledge of the map.

Pretty much so for Hakone.

Make sure you have Enkei JSM wheels (as these are the recommended for any Lancer CT9A).

If you want it super-grippy, you could go for Yokohama RGII (even in 'Drift' setting, those rims makes car unbelievably grippy tongue.gif)

you just have to practice more, remember the corners and watch the videos for the correct lines to take....and you should be using 4th for most of hakone

I've got a problem on Hakone. It's the red hairpin turns. I frequently crash or slow down the car below 120 km/h. I've seen some TA vids of hakone but their quality is really bad I can't clearly see when they turn or brake. Any help? My time is actually really slow. 4 mins and 50 secs.
I use a MX-5 (Aero C, Stock Wing, Stock Bonnet, Aero Mirrors and TCII) is this a good setup?

MX-5 is godly on Hakone due to its small size.

You should find a proper line, and watch TA vids. Some on youtube are clear, in fact, most of them are.

Then you will know when to brake or just let go of the gas.
