lol i duno how tack plays but i know how shanghainese play (i have seen cn.TT play before live), they are decent & im sure he got some weight under his belt

its so hard to find ppl in vancouver that play full contact, everyone just runs off period

last time I was in Van, the WMMT machines were practically empty. Vancouver MT scene had a good run, but it's as good as dead as Seattle nowadays

Gonna be at gameworks this thursday. Been there for the last few weeks, there are usually battles with at least two participants last week we had 4 battlers on 3 machines which can all be used for battle now (ie fixed). Come by if you wanna race.

I'll try to swing by.

Also, regarding a Round 1 opening up here in Seattle, all the info I can find is opening in Seattle around Spring 2015.

Round 1 Report

7 Spring in 2015 U.S.A. (Tentative name) Seattle / Washington Standard, Roadside (Within mega shopping center)

If you also look at the next page, it lists the criteria for opening a new store, basically 42,000-62,000 sq ft and certain population in a certain range radius.

Mega Shopping Center...Can only mean Southcenter or Alderwood unless I'm missing anything else. Highly doubt Northgate/Factoria/Bellevue/Pacific Place will be considered.

Which DX+ version they will have is also up in the air, I think Puente Hills in CA is English and Moreno Valley in CA is Japanese, both are RHP?...

After all that's said and done, these reports appear to be released quarterly so the next one should come out around early November, but I have my doubts it will contain anymore useful information.

If it's Round 1, I expect them to at least import WMMT4 or WMMT5 machines by Spring 2015.

I'm guessing either Northgate, Downtown, Bellevue, or South Center. Personally I think they'll open in Bellevue or South Center

no point since mt4 is expensive & u need to have it online to work for cards

precisely, as much as I wish to see MT4 here, I am being more and more skeptical unless they've created US regional settings.

In all honesty this game had a good run and I think everyone can agree seattle will not be getting newer versions of MT. Hell it took years after other places even got DX and even then it's only 2 machines and they are always plagued with problems.

sadly true, but checking up on CA Round 1, you guys at best will get 3DX+. A lot of 3DX+ machines are starting to disappear in Asian arcades here, probably getting bough by arcades in the west for cheap.

LH cabinet in Round 1 does not appear to have a functional card reader, ghost and battle rankings are all GUEST. RH looks like there are some who have FT'd cars. DX+ is also one of the games that are under Time Play which you pay a flat price to play per a certain amount of time, the default is 60 minutes but if you sign up for a club card it's 70 minutes. There is a limit on how often you can swipe your game card. Depending on the tier of your club card and which day and time of day you are playing there are also other rates. It's too bad they don't have cards, I would've liked to FT a GTR.

Soooo.......Round 1 has decided to disable the card readers on WMMT due to "no cards" being available and no spare parts to be sourced for it. Well the revival we wanted came close, but not close enough..........
