Haha,I definitely have the time to go down there,but I just dont feel like it lol

If that place is still open in 2012 (when Im going to the Formula 1 race),Ill stop in.
But hopefully somewhere up here will pop up and have it before then.

*sigh* ive tried and tried all over freaking dfw and I can not find an arcade that has this game. Not even the older versions. I have people tell me certain areas have it then when i go to check they got rid of it in favor of something else which is retarded. Why would they have cruise n world and no wangan? Who plays cruise n world anymore for the love of god. I'm going to keep searching but if anyone has any ideas about a dfw arlington grapevine area that has this game please say something. The one place I found is going through new management apparently and changed out a bunch of stuff so they dont have it anymore :(. This sucks

I think what someone will have to do is actually go somewhere and convince them why they should get MT.

Main Event Fort Worth said they were re-doing their game floor,and getting stuff.
The only thing interesting they have is ID3.


But,knowing how cheap they are,they probably wont.
They have 2 ID3 cabs. Both arent linked,arent stocked with cards,and arent able to read cards. Theyre too lazy and cheap to do anything about it.

since arcades these days in America don't make as much money as they used to due to the rise of console and computer gaming, arcades are dying fast in this country.
On the other hand, Asia arcades are still popular, especially Japan, so arcades are willing to invest for overpriced GD-ROMs that Japan sell and will still make a fortune out of it (sometimes).
But even so, arcades come and go. A lot of arcades closed down in Asia due to the lack of customers while a few with Godly pros attract more customers and the arcade may continue to thrive for years

Cool story bro

I was in Austin last weekend and spent a couple hours at Arcade UFO. Pretty cool place. Very heavy on fighting games but had a few others. Their 3DX+ is $1 a play and judging from TA and ghost coin records they have a sizable group of regulars. Definitely worth a look if you're in the area.

Hey guys, been playing at Arcade UFO, being a lot of fun.

The owner recently got the latest patch for the game, I wonder how much has changed (can't seem to find a list on changes, sadly).

I'll be visiting Houston in December, if I get a chance to go by Austin, I definitely will visit Austin. Not much Austin players get on this forum huh

From what I can tell, not many people who play this game know too much about the site.
In general, we all keep contact with each other, so most of the scene isn't really interested in a message board unless something big comes up (kind of like why the A UFO site does not have a forum).

If you come by, that'd be cool.

hey there! I am currently reside in Georgia, all the arcades which have WMMT are out of business and I REALLY REALLY MISS WMMT(plus staying here for summer school really blows!)! last time I played was over 1 year ago back to China, playing 3DX & 3DX+ though.

Now I am thinking of traveling to Austin just to mess around or mainly just have some WMMT fun time. haha only place I can find has legit 3DX+ in the states.

so just a couple of questions for you guys:
1. is this ARCADE UFO not far from UT? I will probably crush in my friends' couch at UT if so
2. I read the note on location directory and wondering if new license cards are available now?
3. 2 lhd 3DX+ right? how about the regulars? I want to enjoy some epic battles haha.

I went to LA for spring break last year and had so much fun with kids there playing 3DX so I guess this time another city would be awesome. planning on coming at the end of July, of course on weekend, will shoot a reply before coming.

Wondering if anybody know if there is a wangan machine in Eagle Pass Texas. Went to Desert Lanes bowling and all there is is Wangan 1. Cant read cards and flat out isnt worth playing. wondering where i can find a decent wangan machine.

Why hello there people from Texas. I just moved to Eagle Pass Texas. Dislike how there is no MT!!! Planning on going to San Antonio hopefully by the beginning of this coming month. Anybody down for a game or 2? just moved from cali so i hope some people here would be kind enough to show me how you guys get down in Texas. Well the name is RoXaS. Hopefully we can be friends and have a few good races. I would love to hear from any of you in the san antonio area soon. Thank you for your time.

As far as I know, no MT in San Antonio. I was there last year wanting to play, but Gameworks had shut down there, just like DFW did.

From what I read in this thread, Austin seems to be your best bet.

Wow austin is pretty far from Eagle Pass. I don't have 7 hours or a car or someone to drive me there. Was looking around think there might be one in san antonio. Ill call and look around and hopefully they have something. Anything! I just wanna play :'(
