What's a good rim for the RX-8? Does rims make any difference in battles and time attacks?

i think the best rim for grip and stability is Watanabe Stellar, while for drifting and handling, it's the Volk Rays GTC, and for acceleration is GramLights 57F, i haven't try newer wheels though, but for now, it's the best rims setup for me. BTW, i use BNR34, so this maybe useful for BNR34 drivers.

Pretty sure this isnt true. I have taken many crowns so my rims should be 100m tall (Y)

Who the hell told you that?

I found 57F's very horrid. If you want accel use 3 spokes. They will however give you more slide...which i like happy.gif

If you are using an r34 then perhaps you may like to consider te37's. Its a very balanced rim.

I don't like 57F's either, but I will try them on again to give a second opinion.

No, I meant, so that the game has a larger variety. Sort of like having neons because let's be honest, what's the point of neons? To look flashy. Adds some spice in the mix.

I just realised about how much fail is in my post about the stellars. I though KKK999 said cyclones probably. Cause the cyclones got crap...stellars are good but grippy for me.

Since most folks are gonna come back asking what wheels work well on multiple cars, gonna add my 2c for what I've tested/found:

Whee:l -- Car(s):
>Rays NTLs -- RX-8, Evo9, Z33
>Rays TE37 -- Evo8, Evo9
>Rays 57Accelerate -- RX-8, Evo9, Z33
>Watanabe Cyclone -- Evo9, Z33

Minimal overslide risk; IMHO, the TE37s are a tad more grippier than the rest, and the Cyclones just the opposite.

For Skyline GT-R33, Use TE37 or Yokohama T6
For Evo9 use stock wheel, Meaning Default.
Fairlady z34 use 57f
