when choosing track for ta hold both buttons down...

but why you would bother is beyond me, you're better off doing ghost if you want the traffic

true but there's only one area in the game where i can do the 60k track and that's on time trail. shame too, i liked doing 4 player races with me mates on that track on mt2.

in all honesty theres no real point to TAing with traffic...
even the metro courses...

use it to learn all the major tracks lines... not so much traffic...
traffic patterns change, and more importantly, traffic can be avoided easily in a TA idea, coz you can just look and avoid...

its totally different from battle where you get tossed traffic, pressure and forced plans

true but when you're driving for milage and not doing serious TA's then having traffic makes it more eventful.

so, at the course select i hold both green and red buttons right?

you hold both buttons down at the same time.

but dude...

just play ghost, you get dress up levels and maxi tune coins too.

with TA, you're definitely not getting a record-breaking time with traffic, so why not play ghost.

actually i was talking about mt3 (no coins here sad.gif ), and thanks for the info, i tried it yesterday when i went to give one of my cars a title (happy new years! on the r34 me mate gave me), and yeah it works. although i need to test it out on the 60k ta next week.

and unless you can get the 60k track on anything else other than ta please let me know how to get it, otherwise that was my only option for getting my cars to 5k mileage the quickest (i've now got my 3 cars up and over 5k, woot! now i might do up a 4th car, one of my others in my little collection, dunno yet).

also, i had already got all the dress up parts before going for mileage. infact the way i play it is (for mt3): complete story mode, complete ghost/dress up mode, mabey complete outrun mode (mabey on any other cars i decide to do), then work on mileage and fully concentrate on the revenge lists.

well i think if you define quick as "shortest amount of time playing" then keep doing wangan east time attacks.

if you mean "least amount of plays" then yeah go ahead with your 60km thingy.

quickest, i meant cheapest. one go on the 60k time trail costs 1 credit = £1. it's still a 12-13 min track (i don't take it seriously) so time wise it's still long but money wise it's cheap.

For you maybe just one credit but many arcades around the world charge around triple the normal amount of credits to play.

Sincerely doubt that.

If you feel that a stage is too hard, practice doing ghost first then.

^- Actually the games does follow the 3rd times a charm type of game. If you lose at the first round of the stage, the 2nd round would be easier, if you still fail 3rd will be much more easier, if you still fail. Damn 4th time is the REAL charm. if you still fail... blah there's still 5th but man you gotta be nuts to fail the 4th one o_o

Would like to ask a question, in story mode is the game over when the AI crosses the finish line? Or the game ends when time is up? Beacuse if I am losing, I can get my friend to challenge me so I won't lose the unshaded status?

Generally it's when the CPU beats you over the finish line. Time can run out though if you drive EXTERMELY SLOW.
