Sorry, still alittle slow today and I'm not too familiar when you guys say loops and other terms:(, but in overall it means that for that unshaded card transfer, even if i lose one chapter (the new ones in DX to get the extra 5hp) it will remain unshaded?

But you will not have the title "Undefeated Highway Dominator" right?

if your card is unshaded, no matter what those boxes will never be shaded...
you'll shade for the loop, but you wont get a shaded card

as far as Battles are concerned

for DX, those with over 2000 stars, slight changes to the number of stars lost

2 way is the same
3 way is the same
4 way:

1st: 3 stars
2nd: 2 stars
3rd: 1 star
4th: -1 star

used to be 3rd -1, 4th -2

and i'm here to confirm that battle syle is NOTHING like wmmt2 version A type.

it is STILL MT3 STYLE. tried and tested after bearz posted about it.

evo9 and mx5 are the best cars in terms of handling and balance.

the z33 has slowed down a bit with better handling. i suspect the z34 is gonna take its place as the "all accel and top speed with no handling" kinda car.

(which means when you start a car from a discard, you start at C8 rather than the previous C7)
21 - 30 : C7
31 - 40: C6
41 - 50: C5
51 - 60: C4
61 - 70: C3
71 - 80: C2
81 - 100: C1

So I'm actually thinking that the MX5 is the fastest car in the game, but the Wangan makers meant it for to look a lot like the S2000, because they don't have rights to Honda, so techinally the S2000 is the new fastest car in the game.

but it's not under honda and it's still a Mazda Roadster MX5. Just so happens that car looks like an s2000 in real life as well. so it's not namco's work.

if you wanna say that statement, aren't you implying that mazda stole honda's blueprints?

more for cornering ... it doesnt have any top speed when on Wangan ...

1. Boost effect is very little ... same as MT2 ver A

or perharps u can try and play with me then prolly u will see the difference

you say battle style. boost is not battle style. if you boost off, it no longer counts.

ask any battler here, they will tell you that the boost system in mt3DX is still much more gay than mt2 verA.

don't want to argue with you la ah bear. we all know you ARE the better player because you play everyday. I'm not free to test every single car and glitch in the game.

No, I'm just implying that Wangan didn't want to pay a shitload to buy Honda rights, so in order to save the money and the effort, added the MX5 as of the course the Miata, but meant to translate its speed as that of an S2000, not to mention look at it with a body kit and a wing, come on.

Boost is weaker now but still strong enough for averagy players to keep up with the faster players...
I don't think Namco will be stupid enough to weaken the boost to MT2ver A style cuz it will KILL noobs...
This might cause a lot of potential business and money dumpers to quit playing MT cuz of the high level of difficulty...
I think they are making DX to be noob friendly yet challenging enough to make the more experienced players sweat...

boost is weird.

its stronger sometimes, depends on conditions

the japanese IR release next year but no idea when the english one will be released.

the physics have been tuned a little
if you have 820HP max, your car will slide a bit more than in MT3
if you have 825HP max, of course the car will have slightly more grip

and yes, boost is definitely little...well for the noobs to catch a pro
I saw the SS level ppl playing and they make it look like back in MT3

but personally, I felt there's a lot less ramming, it feels like every time you want to ram someone, you have to think about if you will catch up or not (due to loss of speed or failure of ramming)
catching up takes a bit of time now

And btw...the boost might not be as strong as MT3...
But it's most definitely stronger than Mt2Ver A...
I managed to catch up to an E8 with my FD with only 3km remaining after I did a suicide attack to counter ram another E8...
My speed dropped from 300km/h + to only 200km/h +
With a 200 meter disadvantage I'm able to catch up to about 25 meters...
And that's in 3km...It's weaker...but it's not THAT weak...
If it's still MT2ver A boost...I'd be at least 100m behind at the finish line...

Anybody know if the MR2 or Z31 performs differently or is it the same?

Dude, just stfu with this Honda nonsense. Jesus Christ, even after we learn that there's no S2000, NSX or Godforsaken Civic (big surprise there) you have to start fabricating BS and shoving it down peoples throats...

so to confirm....if my card was unshaded in mt3 and once i transfer it to dx i lose on my 81st game does that mean my card would be shaded for that loop but will be unshaded once i finish the 100th stage?
