Uh...I don't think you read the entire post, or did and don't understand. Because what you just said has absolutely nothing to do with what we're trying to figure out.

All we need is two shaded MT3 cards, transfer to DX, and then each card to do the following:

Card 1) Lose a race within your 20 race tuning period

Card 2) Go undefeated for all 20 stages, and then lose a race in the next loop.

We all know that you get "first black mark" and no special tach, but we're trying to see if the marks on the card itself will shade or not.

We've already established that an unshaded MT3 carryover will not shade under any circumstances, ever, even if you lose your very first race and then lose in the next loop too (this was what my card was used to test and verify). So now we need to test a shaded MT3 card.

Shaded MT3 transfered to DX become "temporarily unshaded"

Card 1 : Lose on Stage 80-100 : Card will be shaded. Will be temporarily unshaded again on the next loop.
Card 2 : Go undefeated then lose somewhere : Will NOT get shaded. Your card has become perma-unshaded. As I remember, this is what happened to my friend. I'll try to confirm about this again later to make sure.

i confirm this one..as i shaded my car after transfering over to DX
i am now unshaded as i am on the next loop

If you lose during this loop (or, if you want you can lose on purpose) post whether your card shades or not.

quick question (as i couldn't find the answer to it in this FAQ thread)

if a car reaches 60 plays (and therefore you get a present card for it) before it reaches 600HP, can you get a 600HP car from the present card?

ex: MX-5 reached 60 plays but was only at 400HP. can i use that present card to get a new MX-5 at 600HP?

Present cards retain all data from the card, so no.

Discards from MT3 might behave differently, I don't know.

so after 5 plays with the present card (which will be at whatever tuning setting you're at, for example 400HP like i asked above) the present card then turns into a regular discard.

so if i used that discard to create a new card, will it be at 600HP even if the original car was not at 600HP?

Discards only work for cards that have done the first 20 stages.

WHAT? Roadster is choosable? Then explain why it's not on the car choosing screen?

Is it win 820hp undefeated or something else?

That tacho meter : if ur 80 story (WMT3) without any lose u will get it
same for the New tacho meter in DX .. finish 100 story without loseing
(if transfer from WMT3 to DX ... just dont lose the last 20 story)
the new DX tacho meter .. if u lose ... dont worry Just play another 100 story without loseing u will get it .. if u lose again just do another cycle till u get it

You'll only get the racing meter if you transferred an unshaded (undefeated) card from MT2 to MT3. You need to complete all 80 stages in MT2 without losing and transfer the card to MT3 to redeem the Racing Meter.

@KKK999: You wont get the Racing Meter if you made a card from any MT3/MT3DX machines.
