I can be I charge of Sydney locations

If i run with this idea, i do not intend for one person to be in charge of one area just because you live there and it applies to you.

Everyone works together, updates the whole thing as necessary. Its a community project for everyone

Didn't imply authority. Simply meant I would like to contribute. Bad wording :$

We're starting to move the information over, if anyone would like to be part of the team maintaining this information, please let us know.

Will need a few people to help with the initial carry over as well.

I already posted that on my older post:

"Tilt San Diego - The address places it in the Westfield Mall. Going to their website yields no match for Tilt. I assume the arcade is gone, so please erase that arcade from the listings."

EDIT #11 (12/19/14): Added Camelot Bakersfield, as I was told by the head tech of Sherman Oaks Castle that their WMMT 3 was moved to that location. If there is anyone near that location, can they please verify it's there, as well as game cost? Thanks in advance!

Long time since I've been here...but I'm happy to report North Texas has a new location that just opened this month to play Maximum Tune.

Round1
Address: 3811 South Cooper Street, Arlington, TX 76015
Hours: unknown opening, but is open until 2am according to a friend.
Cost for a game: unknown, but apparently "cheaper" compared to other places according to said friend.
Card Renewal: see above
Notes: also has at least two Initial D 8 cabinets, RHD.
Cabinets: 4x 3DX+, Japanese RHD version

If it's like the Round 1s here in CA, it will probably like this:

Hours: 10a - 2a daily. 18+ after 10pm, 21+ after midnight
Cost for a game: 1 swipe ($0.50)
Card Renewal: 3 swipes ($1.50)

Southern California

EDIT #12 (12/21/14): Camelot Golfland took out one of the broken WMMT 3DX PLUS cabinets, Nickel Nickel #2 cabinet broken (shows "NO SIGNAL").

Hey I just want to let everyone know I'm in the process of making a new thread as we speak, J^2 has moved on and will no longer be tending to the thread and E86 is on the technical side moving the thread either today or tomorrow from than on I'll be its caretaker again. I've actually had the entire directory in a word document format since I was planning to make a yearly pdf update and release it. Now I've gone threw all 17 pages and done all the updates to the list as far as I know. I still have some formatting and a few more updates to do but I'm planning on releasing the updated list as soon as I have control of the thread and working from there. E86 will wipe all current comments so when there are new updates I can see them without clutter. I know I've been away from the community for long stretches sometimes but this topic is close to my heart and I plan on sticking around permanently to keep it updated. I may be more of a lurker these days but I can promise regular updates from my end.

Thanks for keeping this updated, Sunzabuto.

WMMT is close to my heart too, and it's always sad to see a location disappear or neglect the game. Cards are becoming a rarity here, and I was told disused cards can actually be reused in the machines. I'm happy I kept all of my disused cards, but I doubt I can ask an arcade operator to put in my disused card in the card reader.

I hope my updates for Northern and Southern California aren't too confusing. If they are, please let me know.

Can't wait to see the update from you.

No problem I have been wanting to get this thread back for a long time and although Im busy these days I'm finding myself getting back into WMMT and this community. As for your discard cards I dont see why you couldn't just ask them to put your cards in the reader for you. Its a very simple process actually, only takes a few seconds to initialize the cards so you can use them again. Do you know how to do it, if not I was thinking of making youtube video to show people with the same situation you are in. Just explain to the people working at the arcade the cards are essential to the game and the process takes minutes and you know how to do it. And dont leave all your discards in the cab just wipe them, update your cards, than take the rest home so next time all you have to do is put a card in.

As for the updates they are definatly perfect but the only problem is that without the code from the original post I'm going to have to go through and change it all by hand which will be increadibly time consuming for me. I would really appreciate it if you could go through the Norcal or Socal list and add the code so I can just copy and paste the sections. I'm still updating the entire list so I have a ton more to fix and this would be a huge help for me.

One thing's for sure: For the Asian countries you're gonna have to update them to WMMT5 now (you get what I mean)

Anyways here's the latest info on a couple of Malaysia arcades I know for now:

Nintendo Cobay (Summit USJ):
4 WMMT3DX+ cabs
4 WMMT5 (no longer 8 as previously) + 1 Wangan Terminal
Prices remains the same

CYC Sunway Pyramid:
8 WMMT3DX+ cabs (4 English version/4 Japanese version)
20 WMMT5 cabs + 5 Wangan Terminals
Prices remains the same

FYI, Sunzabuto: SoCal and everything else in USA is now bunched up in NorCal under a spoiler. Oops. wink2.gif

Also, I only hit a few arcades in NorCal. The list I posted was only affecting the ones I mentioned. Anything north of San Francisco I did not research, so they should be put back on the list.

I updated the code for both So Cal and the four locations in Nor Cal above with my info and the date, so if you want to, please replace the lists.

Be advised: Any location other than those that I listed above in Nor Cal I did not check, and should be added back onto the list.

Also, the "spoiler" tag has now creeped up into New York and has gobbled up California completely now.

City Amusements
Address: Sydney, At Haymarket, between town hall and central station, right in the middle. Level 3 up the Elevator or Escalators the long way. Not hard to miss.
Hours: 10AM til late*, Open everyday including public holidays
Cost for a game: $3 per game of MT5
Card Renewal: $6 for a bana pass, found instore or at terminal, rarely on racing cabs.
Notes: Semi-Active scene, with regulars, hardcore players and locals, as well as daily occasional guest players.
Cabinets:
8 Cabinets, 4x2. Conditions I'd rate is dandy, there's rarely any broken wheels, and conditions are great, only the third machine has a glitchy 4th gear. But not really a nuisance.
  • Mario Kart 2, WMMT3DX+ (4 cabs, heard its going to be removed soon), 8x MT5, 2 Terminals. (Amongst other arcade attractions for fighting gamers, ticket machines, way too many to mention.)
Source(s): KENZZ, I've been there since 2012, been there everyday and actively since 2012 til now.

Notes:
To make the most of your value and amount of games, the best deal is on Tuesdays.
Load $100, get an additional $150, making it $250 credit, (Usable on MT5)
Technically $1.20 per game in value, totalling 83 games of MT5.

Timezone Hornsby
Address: 236 Pacific Highway - 3rd level at the Westfield next to the Cinema
Hours: 9-10AM till late, open on public holidays as well
Cost for a game: $3 per game of MT5
Card Renewal: $6 For BanaPass, normally bought at terminal
Notes: P: (02) 9477 4866 Email: hornsby@timezone.com.au Swipe card pay system
Non-active scene, have gone a few times and most times there are no other players there but have noticed crown changes. If you're close to this arcade I recommend going, or if you want to complete story/TA mode then it is also a good venue. I don't recommend going to this area searching for battles since players are quite scarce.

Cabinets:
  • 8 Cabinets, 4x2. Conditions of machines are quite excellent, haven't encountered any problems so far.
  • More arcade machines as you'd expect (Ticket games etc.)
Source(s): Stavingo, played at the area once and have visited the area twice since the last time I played there.
