Yeah shame i missed meeting you, anyway, i understand that its a big part of the game, but ive been fished since forever... no amount of stupid ramming
will improve my driving.. just practice.. i mean that's what i have been doing, and have no desire to ram anyone else.. just find it stupid and pointless..
alas I'll pick my opponents carefully from now on if this is the "norm" now days...

I was just really frustrated and disappointed as i waited out till the afternoon for said person, being a good person i am only to get bumped up the arse.. not very pleasant. Ill get over it.

Anyway i might head over to TZ, since its across the road from where i am currently and play some ghosts.

Blocking is part of the game, it always was. If you justify your lack of skill with excuses, you'll never improve. EJ is the strongest MT player in Sydney and arguably one of the best in Australia, so don't disrespect someone just because you don't approve of an existing play style that you cannot beat.

So went to MC PT, 4 machines were full, sat on the end of the other 4

Start to play ghost, thinking of maybe such and such is playing with friends.

Get challenged pretty much after i start... then 2 GUESTS    join in..

Fixed that for you.

QUOTE (KSF @ 8 hours, 10 minutes ago)

Get gang banged left right and center.. back off let them do there thing..

Pass get gang banged again.. drop back suffer a loss, exit and redo ghost.

You know maybe they might get the hint, drive for real..

Coming from an older generation player, I'm surprised that you'd justify utilising game mechanics to defend your position or play the game would mean that someone [myself] doesn't know how to play or as you'd say it 'drive for real'. Utilising one game mechanic to counter a game mechanic isn't cheating.

Also, we weren't 'gang banging' you at all, WRX (who was also playing and observed everything beforehand) knows that I discourage and do not stand for 2v1, 3v1 or unfair gameplay as it is immoral. Jet, WRX and I usually play the way we do as we play for fun and the physics of the game allows us to ram, block, suicide dive so we are 'driving for real'. We block each other and at no point did we exhibit any signs of unfair gameplay, collusion or teaming up against you. Adding to that note, Jet, WRX and I were laughing, having fun whilst playing the game, unlike you.
QUOTE (KSF @ 8 hours, 10 minutes ago)

Sorry, my perception of a real race isn't ramming left right center

So your perception of a real race is to verse severely handicapped players (Guest players or non tuned cars) and effortlessly win against them? Is that a 'real race?' Your perception of a 'real race' is the equivalent of yourself signing up and competing in the Paralympics. Sure, you'd outclass and beat everyone, but at the end of the day, onlookers would think its sad/pathetic and laugh at the fact that you'd believe winning against a paraplegic in athletics is something to be proud of.

How would you feel if you were driving a stock/guest car and I'd come along and effortlessly won against you knowing that you have no chance in winning. Would you keep continuing to play? Would you find it enjoyable?

QUOTE (KSF @ 8 hours, 10 minutes ago)

just because you cant compensate somewhere

Excuse me? Compensate for what?

SPOILER

Am I still compensating for somewhere else or should I keep going?

Remember how you said I can't drive for real? If you think blocking and ramming is dirty/cheating, then you must be the cleanest, fastest runner I've ever seen right?? How about TA times? Does that make me less of a 'dirty driver'?

SPOILER

After taking into consideration what may go through your thought process, individuals such as yourself would throw personal insults and insinuate that I do not have a life nor can I provision my money because I could've bought a real car instead of playing MT. Well guess what?

1. I do have a life, I work 2 jobs, study full time at University and am able to balance my social life, gaming and relationships

2. Sure, I admit to spending an amassed amount of money on the game. But I was also able to buy and maintain a Subaru WRX since the end of high school. I was also able to purchase an R34 GTR V Spec in real life too.

3. You've been playing MT for at least 3 or 4 times as long as I have. The amount of money invested, reflected by your ignorance of meta, inability to admit defeat or accept that utilising a game mechanic to counter a play style is a legitimate tactic; I regret to inform you that it was a very unwise investment. If it truly was a hobby or a game you 'play for fun', you wouldn't go to the lengths to provoke or disrespect me online whilst staying quiet in real life would you?

QUOTE (KSF @ 8 hours, 10 minutes ago)

If you've been fished since forever, then maybe you should accept the fact that those players are simply better? Rather than rant on the forums about people playing dirty. 3 years ago during this month, I started MT and I was very much a fish as well who kept losing to people that block, ram and 'cheat'. What did I do? I asked to learn how to block to conform to the then-current meta. I didn't whinge, complain, act like a 12 year old or flame another person simply because they are using a strategy that is made possible with the game physics. MT is a game , not a racing simulator. If blocking and ramming is so 'dirty', then why is it incorporated in higher level play, such as in overseas tournaments. What about Japan? People approve of and treat blocking as part of defending your position in a game.

QUOTE (KSF @ 8 hours, 10 minutes ago)
Anyway, in future not challenging anyone in city unless i know

they can actually drive for real..

QUOTE (KSF @ 8 hours, 10 minutes ago)

alas I'll pick my opponents carefully from now on if this is the "norm" now days...

By pick your opponents carefully you mean exclusively verse stock, untuned and guest cars since 99% of the Sydney community is aware, knows and approves of the play style I exhibit. That sounds pretty sad in my opinion. Rather than admitting defeat and trying to learn new meta, you'd stubbornly look for easier players to win against rather than improve your own skill. How come MT1 and MT2 players are able to adapt to my play style, approve of it, try to learn it and use it against me then? Please explain.

QUOTE (KSF @ 8 hours, 10 minutes ago)

Sure its fishing, but its not my fault people re challenge me over and over again...

That's why you take the initiative and ask them 'hey, can you not continue until I've turned off my versus? It isn't fair because my car is tuned', turn off your VS and then let them enjoy their game. How do you feel satisfied knowing your stars and medals come from people who do not have a chance to compete with you? You could have 15,000 stars from guests and I wouldn't respect you at all, knowing the origin of those stars.

QUOTE (KSF @ 8 hours, 10 minutes ago)

being a good person i am only to get bumped up the arse.. not very pleasant.

If you were genuinely a good person as you say you are, you wouldn't spend the time to flame me online rather than coming up to me in person and saying 'Hey EJ, I didn't like the way you played, could you please not ram or block as much please?'

You start, I finish. Please, at least try to sound intelligent and well-informed.

Wow, the younger generation is so touche.. talk about not being to take constructive criticism.

Like I said, when I made that post, sure I was a bit flared up and probably should of just shut up... But wow what a can of worms did I open up.

Ok, I know ramming/blocking is part of game, sure whatever... However it's just not my style, as we all have our own, right?
As I said get I'll over it.

What really got me going is that I personally waited for someone for a friendly game, being out of the game for so long and the fact I live a few hours outside Sydney metro, I still made time to be there. At no point did the person attempt to say hi or anything.. well not like the old days.. a suggestion of "hey we're gonna play ram/block, you cool with that?" Would have been fine.. but oh yeah I forget that the "younger generation" only talk via phones and don't like to talk to old and yes slight fat people.. it's not like I bite...

Anyway, even as I say this, ppl will ignore/forget this and move on.. so whats the point in trying to reason..

The funny thing is, even the older generation in North America would approve of EJ's choices. It's not constructive criticism when you're crying about being blocked. If I lived in Sydney I'd block your ass too. That doesn't mean I'm any lesser than you because you prefer clean racing but in the end of the day, who gives a shit about you really?

Get fished by 1.5mill , 100k star hacked cards, SSSS rank, check.

Don't talk about anything on forums because you'll get flamed for whatever you talk about, check.

Ok i understand now, let see how things are 6 months down the track.

Also hello Myth! What's good?

Ye, coz since DOA5, you can hold B to block and D/B to block low but can still press the block button but it won't block lows unless you hold down.

But raw tekken blocking is in the joystick itself with the movement.
Why else korean backdashing/ backdashing and movement cancelling, wavedashing etc. are a thing? It can almost deny 50-50 mix up! Only part for true reads is going for the raw low parry, or hard down.

QUOTE (EdwardHeartsU @ Yesterday, 7:07 AM)
Fixed that for you.

This... Tis is the best, good job EJ! That KSF dude, What a whiner! Sure, i used to hate blocking to but, i got over it and now i'm hella better! Peace bro 😉
