Question, will test location pass work for the actually verison of mt4

Most likely it will, but I doubt they'll let you keep it since the data stored on the card is for users to test and not for personal use.

When buying a new car, is it as simple as it is on Initial D, or the same as previous versions just with the Banapassport?

It is the same as the previous MT versions, however, you now have the option to purchase the car on the Wangan Terminal if I'm not mistaken.

yea if you are able to read abit of jap you can purchase a new car via the terminal and the cabinet

ive been watching some of the video where you buy banana passport and so on. but heres the thing.
1.do you have to pay every time you want to transfer a car?.
2.is it free the first time after you buy the banana passport?

If you mean transfer as in from 3DX+ to 4 then there is no additional cost. You only have to purchase the Bana Passport.

What story mode will you transfer to if you are past storymode 900?

When transferring from 3DX+ to 4, if you have both special meters (Namco Tachometer, Onion Tachometer), will they be transferred to 4? Also, will your rank (C1, B3, SSS, etc.) transfer over?

Yes, and yes.

But if you're rank-fancy and haven't done all 10-outruns, do it before you transfer, because the entire mode is demolished in MT4.

Is there a possibility of it being added back as update version 2.0?

I doubt it myself, i rarely ever see anyone do this mode in GSGW, either people want to do story mode, ghost, or battle someone...

If you are currently at level 63 dressup in 3DX+, and you transfer to 4, how many levels do you have to do before you unlock Aero D?

I've been to the HK location test yesterday. Here is something that I can share.

The price is HK$ 8 per game which is appox. US$1.1. It was the older version as RK Coupe is not there, hakone and fukuoka are not there either. You cannot transfer your DX+ cars. The service terminal is not loaded with passports and the DX+ card slot is sealed.

However, you can buy a passport from the game machine by HK$ 35 which is around US$4.2. Once you have got your passport, you can edit the settings of your car at the service terminal. No matter what you do, once you start using it, a 180-second count-down commences.

It is pretty much 280 race as all the data in the location test CANNOT BE USED in the official release. So other than "I have touched the steering wheel of WMMT4" essentially there is not too much technical information can be share.

However, there are some smartasses did buy the passport and fish. People are yelling loudly that it just take 8000 for 100-story to full-tune a car. Smart asses are everywhere these days and farting around.

The location site is composed of 4 linked wmmt4 machines and one service terminals. All connected, all time and date are correctly set. Each player is entitled to play one game only. After that he/she needs to vacant his/her machine so that others can try. Namco game park has set you some measures that facilitating the queuing. There is a lady at the machines so that when it is your turn to play the game, you can optionally by the location test limited edition passport from her which is HK$ 35. You can only buy one. If you want some more, you need to queue up again.

The developers are there - those people that updates the future lab in the official pages. Some fanboys manageed to get there autograph.

Rumors are there that there will be other location test premises world wide but it is not confirmed yet.

I got one question, how to get banapassport card?

You can buy one from the Wangan Terminal, some MT4 machines and your arcade manager.

If you have a shaded card in MT3DX+ and transfer it to MT4, and complete a story loop, would it become unshaded? If not, would there be any way to unshade your current (in this case shaded) MT3DX+ card?

Complete another full loop on DX+. (100 stories)

Let me reword my question. Does the shaded status reset after completing a story loop without losing rule apply to MT4?
