In general, game isn't that hard.
Stages that people consider difficult are the last stage of chapters with Devil Z/Black Bird in it because these two gets massive boost compare to other CPUs.

From what I've seen, many people end up losing are Stage 58 and Stage 60.

As for Fukuoka, only course that we know for sure to come back by an update is Hakone.

We will just have to wait and see.

In regards to the cars, there were certain top tier cars in mt3/dx/dx+... Mostly the e8/9 rx8 and etc...

My question is, how do these cars fare? Still top tier or is the playing field a lot more even?

Game hasn't been out for long, so no one really knows which car is the best.

However, since WMMT4 can be updated by an online system, it is likely that there never will be a permanent "best" car.

BandaiNamco already have announced that Ver 1.02 patch (will be out on Feb 1st) will adjust battle hit and reaction element on all cars (Player's car, opponent's car, and traffic cars)

Other than update patches that has been planned out already (ie. Hakone, Extra dress-up parts, Aura, and New cars), BandaiNamco will update WMMT4 by player's suggestions.

If you read offical site's staff log, you can see that staffs are really focusing a lot on player's comment.

Its really great that there will be constant upgrades as that means there will not be an absolute whorage of a few types of cars...

I think looking from vid, hitting traffic now is like mt2 = pretty much instant death... I think they might return it to how it was in mt3 as it was the most fun.

Will our titles be reset when we transfer, as from MT3 -> 3DX?

Yes. Your titles will change to New Comer of Wangan.

Aww, damn I'm gonna lose my beloved titles! Oh well, any info on how to get certain titles on WMMT4 like on 3DX+?

Since it's online, does it have any indicator whether we have lost story mode or not? Since our car data is on Namco server, I can't think of any solutions....

And also what will we get if we got unshaded all the way? (Like 120 wins, 120 story)

well, that means byebye awesome judge dredd title when i transfer the grb. xD

While there aren't any shaded stars, It will show how many stages you have raced and how many straight wins you got.

As far as I can tell, physic is pretty much same as previous series.

However you lose a lot more speed if you crash.

When i completed the 5 storys without the lose and i will get Yellow tacho right?

Yes. If you transfer your fully-tuned 3DX+ card to 4 and beat 5 stages in story mode without losing, you will get Yellow race meter.

question about the tachometer..will we have the yellow tachometer if we lose in the storymode (like you have complete the chapter but you lose once or twice before you complete it)??

A: If you complete the story once without losing, regardless of Newly started from scratch or transferred the data from 3DX+, you will get YELLOW RACE METER.

Again about the physics, hit an R2 and you're done for right? What about walls then? Tapping it is not much of a loss?

Sir P.K., is it true that the Banapass has a monthly renewal fee?

Questions about completions of story mode...

1st 60 story wins gives you Yellow Racing Meter and MT3/3DX/3DX+ BGM, right?

And 2nd 60 story wins (120 consecutive wins) gives you Red Racing Meter and 10-Outrun BGM....

What about 3rd 60 story wins (180 consecutive wins)? Do they give you some rewards or they just don't?

It would be nice if you can post pictures of the meters (including MT2 Racing Meter, 3DX+ Special Meter, MT4 Yellow Racing Meter, and MT4 Red Racing Meter) on the last page of the car data....

where do you get that info?

if I remember correctly, there's no fee for banapass other than the initial purchase.

If there's a fee it's the sign up fee for banapass to namco website some time ago (I remember hearing about TTT2 player having to pay to register their banapass) but it's gone now. Is that what you're talking about?

I just heard it from a friend of mine. I was skeptical too, so I went here to ask P.K. about it, since he's the one with the Banapass, and all that.

No. After you buy Banapassport, you don't pay anything ever again.

If you beat story mode for 3rd time, you will get WMMT 1 & 2 BGM.

4th time, you will get WMR BGM.

Based on my experience, tapping a wall little bit doesn't make speed go down too much.

Also, this physic will be updated on next patch on Feb 1st. We will see how things will change.
